eVGA GeForce 9800 GTX Video Card

Duration of ownership: 10 Days
Strengths: Solid card, great price, run almost every game on highest settings
Weaknesses:Extremely long length wise, may have issues fitting in some cases or on certain motherboards, heavy
Overall Evaluation: This card is a huge monster. Weighting at an estimate of two or three pounds, will definitely run almost everything you throw at it including Crysis on highest settings without struggling. I had some trouble fitting this card inside the case due to configuration issues, and also ensure your motherboard heatsinks are not in the way. Since this card is from EVGA with a lifetime warranty, register online within thirty days to qualify.

Strengths: Monster card; great bang for the buck; dual slot cooling
Weaknesses:Very large
Overall Evaluation: I was upgrading from an older G80 series 8800GTS Video card. I didn't *have* to upgrade, but with the prices on these things dropping so much, it seemed like a good idea! :-) Note that this is a LARGE card! It will take up two slots, which can be both a good & bad thing. That means that it cools better, with it's dual slot cooling. However, it also means that it will take up two slots on your motherboard. It's also very deep. I had a hard time fitting it into my Antec P180 PC case. It's surprisingly quiet, and performs great!

Strengths: It really is able to handle anything currently on the market while setting the graphics to high, except for one case: I can't run crysis with the graphics turned all the way up. Shocking! Ha ha!
Weaknesses:Not as good as the $400 graphic cards.
Overall Evaluation: This is a great buy, and does everything I need it to. I upgraded from a 8800GTS (320mb) and there is a difference. I just bought another one for my other computer and realized this is the best card out there for under 200. I was tempted to spend a little more and get the GEForce GTX 260 but decided against it because the benchmarks were the same overall, a few games the 260 was SLIGHTLY better (particularly the new games, crysis, etc), but not enough to justify an additional 60 dollars. I am so happy with this card.
