Microtek Take-it MV320 Digital Video Camera

The perfect camera for all skill levels, the MV320 is a 3.21-megapixel digital video camera with up to 7 megapixels interpolated resolution. MPEG4 video at up to 640 x 480 resolution and up to 30 frames per second to provide smooth, high-resolution movie clips. Other features include 4x digital zoom, five-mode variable flash with red-eye reduction, 2.0" LCD screen, and 16MB internal flash with expandable Secure Digital (SD) memory slot. The MV320 can also act as a voice memo recorder and even Webcam for PC, and sharing is made easy with a USB interface for sending images to friends and family -- with an AV out for viewing on television. Duration of ownership: 7 Months

Strengths: Good beginner digital video camera. Works well in most lighting.

Weaknesses:Problems with on/off button, won't turn on.

Overall Evaluation: I'm trying to return my second camera in the 6 months I have owned it for the same reason, it won't turn on. The manufacturer keeps trying to get me to substitute a multimedia player' for my current model. Slow turnover for replacement camera, 6 weeks. May be a good idea to accept substitute since the warranty is running out.
