  Overall Evaluation: I have 2 pair of these and use them before I use my $300 Bose. They're comfortable, sound quality is good, and very portable. Great listening to my MP player while mowing the lawn. Haven't noticed any squeal in either pair, but maybe I just can't hear that frequency due to too many concerts in my life.

  Weaknesses:Generates a high frequency, very loud and deafening, squeal.

  Overall Evaluation: I would never recommend this product to anyone. After some use I began hearing an intermittent deafening squeal. After paying another $15 I got a second pair of refurbished headphones from the factory only to hear the squeal again after a few uses. I called the company and they told me there was nothing else they could do about it. When reading a highly rated review in Consumer Reports, I thought I'd give them another try but, alas, the high frequency squeal came back.
