Duration of ownership: 2 Days

Strengths: larger screen and wifi

Weaknesses:Doesn't work out of the box... Hmmm.... that's a pretty bad weakness.

Overall Evaluation: I like to purchase products that work immediately out of the box - that is... without any additional tweaking or trying to figure out how the thing works. Over the course of a week, I purchased 3 of the Zune 120's and could not get one of them to work right. The instructions that accompany it are useless. I thought it was my USB port until I finally just gave up in desperation and bought an Ipod 120. It worked immediately out of the box. Microsoft... you so don't get it.

Strengths: Lots of storage & great software

Weaknesses:Lacks the ipod crank

Overall Evaluation: My girlfriend got a 4g Zune and I like it so much I bought the 120g version. The software is fantastic!! Great for discovering new music and the Zune interface is the best I ever used. The iPod wheel is actually a "virtual crank" who wants that??? I found a great leather case for 20 bucks and movies look great when traveling. Do yourself a favor & get a Zune.

Duration of ownership: 7 Days

Strengths: Easy to use, huge screen, can share with others who have same device, can download tons of photo's and music, as well as videos Podcasts and movies.

Weaknesses:Poor to no instructions regarding using unit when purchased.

Overall Evaluation: Despite limited to no instructions with device, I've throughly enjoyed it. I can communicate with friends, and kids, and do all the wonderful above interactions.

Weaknesses:Lack of lots of Accessories

Overall Evaluation: The Zune 120gb is now my favorite mp3 player! I've owned an iPod, creative and now a zune.The biggest selling feature for me was the screen size and the storage. I can now put my music collection on with room to spare for movies, pictures, or podcasts.The only down side is that the amount of accessories are not as good as the ipod. I never spent oney on the accessories anyways, so or me it does not matter.
