  Duration of ownership: 30 Days

  Strengths: Long-time user of Norton. 2010 version is even easier to use. Never had a breech with Norton.

  Weaknesses:Does not load first at startup. Somewhat pricey, but there are workarounds for that.

  Overall Evaluation: 2010 version of Norton has improved over even the 2009 version. Installs quickly. Configures easily. Settings are easy to find and adjust. Help explanations are context sensitive and more helpful than most software help systems. The on-line support is outstanding when needed. Additionally, every evaluation I read consistently puts Norton as best or near best for effectiveness. Outstanding software. Highly recommended to everyone connected to the Net.

  Strengths: it was good for protection in my computer.

  Weaknesses:i am not happy with it because it was a one year warranty and not enough for protection with year. it must have renewal for pay it. it was not work with window 7 instead download to NIS 2010...

  Overall Evaluation: i have no comment for it... i love it.....it was not working for window 7 but only working with vista and older window... you must download it like NIS 2010 and it product key was working with NIS 2010.

  Overall Evaluation: When I reported problems to Norton, they replaced/upgraded the software to the 2010 version and problems were eliminated. Everything works well now and I am very pleased.

  Strengths: Scan faster with Norton Insight and take less PC resources than previous version.

  Weaknesses:Malware removal takes several computer restarts.

  Overall Evaluation: With a new scan engine based on Norton Insight which identifies trusted files to reduce scanning time, NIS 2009 runs much faster than its previous versions. The program itself is much leaner. Installation is fairly quick with no problem. Most important is that NIS 2009 is no longer a resource hog as its previous versions. NIS 2009 is efficient in detecting and removing malware. But the process of cleaning the system is a bit slow and might require several restarts to complete.

  Overall Evaluation: I purchased Norton Internet Security 2009. It was easy to install and worked to block many internet intrusions. It has many controls that you can set for your own level of security.
