    Duration of ownership: 3 Months

Strengths: convertibile=versatile. loaded enough to replace your desktop. stays cool most of the time.

Weaknesses:4200rpm hard drive. battery life could be a little better. video-out doesn't do 1280x960 resolution (with current drivers, anyway). need dock for dvi.

Overall Evaluation: I've been using this for about 3 months now and I can say without exaggeration that this is one of the nicest computers I've ever used - laptop, desktop, tablet, or otherwise. The design is very well thought out. It looks great, feels great, and everything is where you'd expect it to be. Even the screen is sturdy, despite it being on only one hinge (and a rotating one at that!).This makes a great laptop and could easily be a desktop replacement as well, (but you would probably want to replace the hard drive with something faster). However, it is a bit heavy to use for long periods as a tablet, and the lcd is not as easy on the eyes in the portrait orientation; otherwise highly recommended!

    Duration of ownership: 2 Weeks

Strengths: raw computing power, crisp display, system layout

    Weaknesses:battery life.

Overall Evaluation: First, the video memory is 128MB, not the 32 advertised. After testing several leading tablets, this is the one I chose. Not only is there a stylus, but a touchpad with a 4-way directional scroll button. For responsiveness, this tablet outperforms my high-ended desktop. The journal converts my handwriting to text with no training. The tutorials are easy to follow and I found that the stylus interface is far more natural than the old-fashioned mouse. If you have to go notebook, get a TabletPC. If you get a TabletPC, get an Acer C314. I've looked at the others, this is the best.
