    Duration of ownership: 20 Days

Strengths: Fastest transfer speeds currently available in a SD card, large capacity.

    Weaknesses:Pricey, but worth it.

Overall Evaluation: I purchased the 8GB Extreme III 30mb/s card for my DSLR Camera to make sure I could take as many rapid shots as possible, without waiting for the camera's buffer to load images onto the card. The fast transer rate of this card allows the camera to get images saved onto the card more quickly. Works like a charm as the shooting doesn't slow down until many shots have been taken in rapid succession. There are much cheaper SD cards at this size, but if you can benefit from the higher transfer rates, these are well worth the money.

    Duration of ownership: 6 Weeks

    Strengths: Extremely fast, big storage

    Weaknesses:Expensive

Overall Evaluation: I purchased this card for my D90 and so far I am very pleased with the performance. the card is extremely fast although I have not been able to obtain the claimed speeds. So far I haven't had to format the card. The build quality is just like other Sandisk products.

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Extremely fast transfer rate, bonus card reader and case, large storage capacity

    Weaknesses:None

Overall Evaluation: The card comes with a bonus fast SD/SDHC card reader and pouch. It was tested and has around a 15-18MB/s write and read speeds with various readers, and is very suited to digital cameras. There is a 30 MB/s version of this same Extreme III card that costs more. Another note is that this is an SDHC card, and most older devices that take SD cards may not be able to take SDHC, or it may not read to the full speed of this card, so please check the specs and manual before purchasing this card.
