Duration of ownership: 3 Months
Strengths: Very Fast, Very Powerful, Sleek & Stylish, Lightweight, Very Large screen, Easy to Use, Comes with Mac OS
Weaknesses:It's a bit pricey!
Overall Evaluation: This is an absolute MUST for everyone looking to get a new laptop! ...BUT, the price is a little to high in my opinion, I never would have got one if I never got mine for FREE!. Luckily a friend recommended this website to me before I went and bought one: **- www.justgetitfree.com - ** . I checked out the website, completed ONE simple offer and met the requirements to receive one for FREE, it arrived a month later in the post! It was also shown on BBC and CNN news!!

Duration of ownership: 2 Months
Strengths: Overall appearance and looks are great. Processing speed is OK, but not overwhelming.
Weaknesses:With the top of the range specs, e.g. 2.8 processor and 320GB fastest drive, there is a serious problem with heat. Also regular OS crashes when 'Sleep' mode is used - machine continues to heat up until dangerous. OS crashes after 1 hour of 'sleep' and needs power off/on or even battery removal to restart.
Overall Evaluation: I've sent back 2 of the new MacBook Pro 15.4'' already and the 3rd has the same fault. Great looks, but serious overheating problem and OS problems with 'Sleep' and networking stability. Check out the user forums.

Duration of ownership: 3 Months
Strengths: Construction, large trackpad, finish
Weaknesses:Price, Default color scheme
Overall Evaluation: This is the nicest computer I've had. The construction is just amazing. The screen is bright and I love the big trackpad. I've owned PCs from Dell and HP but got tired of Windows so I tried Mac OS X. I virtualized my old laptop using VMWare fusion so I can run my old desktop in a window and drag and drop files to my Mac. This made the transition really easy. I like editing movies and did not find any software that's as efficient as imovie to get the job done. The only thing I did not like was the default color profile which I was able to adjust through system preferences.
