Strengths: Excellent Sharpness and Clarity. Inexpensive price. Easy to use. Comes with protective bag.

    Weaknesses:None so far

Overall Evaluation: This lens from Sony is a great buy. The extra zoom it adds when taking long distance shots was sharp and the clarity was amazing and well worth the price. Very light-weight and easy to use.

    Strengths: sturdy, sleek, works great

    Weaknesses:No front thread

Overall Evaluation: I bought it to use it with my Canon S3 camera As you know that the camera already has 12X optical zoom, this lens even increases it by 1.73X. I bought a 58 mm adapter on which this lens can be placed. There is no front thread so you can't put UV filter or polarizer in front of it. I am still to use more to get familiar with it. But so far I am very happy. A quality SONY product.

    Strengths: Sharp as a tack

    Weaknesses:Have found none

Overall Evaluation: This lens is absolutely amazing for the price of $100. I was blown away by the sharpness and clarity. Lens only weighs about 8 ounces, so portability is no problem. I have purchased other lenses for my DSLR for much more money that do not begin to compare to this lens. I would highly recommend this lens to anyone wanting to extend the telphoto range of their H series Sony camera. I LOVE THIS LENS, can't wait to take it to the zoo.

Strengths: Good clarity (under good lighting); Cheap gudget for beginer who would like to get some add-on accessaries for SLR-like camera; light weight

Weaknesses:Add some extra zoom to Sony H-1 digi camera, but franky speaking, not very much significant.

Overall Evaluation: 1. a relatively cheap tele len as compare to those for SLR camera. So, in u won't feel real bad, if it doesn't perform as what u expect it to be. 2. H1 already equip w pretty awsome zoom (12x). This tele lens do add some extra zoom. But frankly speacking, not very impressive. 3. Would prefer, if H1 camera have auto detection len function, so won't have to do the mode switch (tele mode, wide mode, normal mode ... etc). 4. Light weight so won't have to worry about hurting ur neck when i carry that while hiking, climbing ... etc.

Strengths: Great magnification. Exellent Clarity. Light weight. Inexpensive price tag

Weaknesses:No weaknesses found at this time.

Overall Evaluation: The tele lens is light weight and has amazing clarity. It puts more zoom in my zoom and I love using it-- even if I have to take random pics of far away things.
