    I ordered the Leap Frog Explorer Smart Globe from Academic Superstore on August 15. The website indicated that the item \"ships within 1-2 weeks.\" On September 15 (one month later), I contacted them and asked why the order hadn\t shipped yet and when it would ship. They said they were still waiting for a shipment to come in. On September 22, I contacted them again for an update. They said the ship date kept being pushed back due to the back to school rush and they recommended that I look elsewhere for the product (since I wanted it for an October birthday). Meanwhile, their website STILL states the the item \"ships within 1-2 weeks.\" I waited six weeks and eventually had to cancel my order. Completely unacceptable and misleading!

    I recently purchased the above from Academic Superstore online. I received the product and uploaded and saw that I needed to send proof to Adobe before activating the trial version. Unfortunately, there are two-student versions- one that costs $574 and the other that costs $598. When I was at the Academic Superstore website I only saw the student version for $574 and since my teacher said the version we could get was around $500, I thought this was the correct version. I was also told I would have to submit proof to Academic Superstore and I did and they put the order through. If I was going to need a student ID then they should of asked me for that along with a class receipt because I thought I only had to submit the class receipt to them and that was it. If they asked me for a student id to begin with because of the version I was buying then none of this would of happened and I would have seen that I needed to purchase the other student version.Now if I had seen the student version for $598 then I would have looked at it to see if it might be the one I should get. So, now I have the product that I cannot use without a serial number and I have not even opened the training software because I do not need it, I just thought it was a bonus. I have talked with Academic Superstore and they said Adobe would not give me a serial number, so I said can I send back the software and purchase the $598 version and they will not let me. So, they are charging me $574 for something that I can never use- which is insane. There has to be some sort of return policy because you cannot expect someone to pay that kind of money for a trial version that I could have gotten online. There is something really wrong with the Academic Superstore policy that they plan to keep my money and I am left with nothing I can use. They cannot do business that way and expect to survive by ripping people off and taking their money leaving them with something useless and not having any kind of return policy. The fact is that it is only a trial version, and I have nothing that I can do anything with beyond that period. I cannot believe a store can treat people like that and expect to get away with it. I never wanted my money back; I just want something I can use. Since you guys do business through Academic Superstore I thought you should know the way they treat their customers- like trash. Something like this that should be easy to resolve has become a complete nightmare. I am willing to pay the additional money for the other version; it is so crazy because it is not about the difference in money, which is a small difference, but the fact that a company is not willing to work with their customer to get them what they need. Instead they just want to take my money and blame it on Adobe, when they can exchange it for me.

    Good price but it took them 10 days to get my order onto a UPS truck. (4 more for UPS to deliver).

    Academic Superstore rates 5 stars in my book!! With competitive pricing and great selection, timely/price effective delivery, and helpful/knowledgeable staff; they?re a must for any academic institution.

    Ive placed three orders for academic software in the past 3-4 months. All orders where promptly shipped, and received when expected. Academic eligibility process was straightforward and fast. With the lowest prices among academic resellers and free shipping, I definitely will continue to use Academic Superstore for my academic purchases.

    AcademicSuperstore is a great place to shop. Customer service takes care of your needs and items are shipped within days. When I called inquiring how long a wait for a back order, it arrived sooner than they stated. When I made a credit card typo with my online order, they not only sent an email, they called also. I will continue to order from them until I no longer can.

    After several purchases with Academic Superstore, there is no reason that I would not purchase from them again. The products are priced well and they keep stock in house and up to date. Great website and catalog to browse too!John Crann

    Beware! The backpack I ordered was placed on backorder. I was charged the day I placed the order, after a week I hadnt heard anything other then a confirmation email. I had to check the status on the site to see it was backordered. When I called they said it would be another 2 weeks until I would receive the bag. I promptly canceled my order and requested a refund. They should signify on the site if something needs to be special ordered and notify the customer immediately when the product is on backorder.
