Buy.com has the worst returns policy of any online merchant. I bought a "refurbished" GPS unit that had a broken mounting clip due to poor design. Unfortunately, I didnt dig deep enough to find that their return policy only allows you to return opened or defective products in exchange for exactly the same product. How do you know if you like the item if you dont open it? Why would you want to exchange an item that has a poor design for exactly the same item? I will never buy anything from buy.com again. Youre better off buying from ebay if youre going to buy junk.

Ordered item on the 28th of August. As previously stated in other reviews, site said that orders will take 1-2 days to process. After 3 days, I received an email stating that the shipping address I had placed was not on my approved CC list (understandable). The email stated to contact the CC company, add the address and reply to their "Address Verifcation site." THERE IS NO SUCH THING. I spent an hour searching through their Help Center/Customer Service pages with no luck... and of course, the only way to get in contact with them is through email (which they too say will get back to you within 1-2 days).It has now been 1.5 weeks and 5 emails since Ive placed my order and I have yet to see the status change from Processing" or receive an single email response.Absolutely terrible way to run a business and I will never order an item from them them again. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE.

Buy.com has been giving me my worst shopping experience (of any kind) of my entire life. I am dead serious about that. I never bought from them before because I knew that they had one of the shadiest reputations on the entire internet, but I decided to give them a chance. WHAT A MISTAKE! I need my products badly, and cant afford to pay for them twice, even temporarily. Buy.com will neither ship them *nor* cancel my order, and apparently this is just going to go on indefinitely. Please, please take the time to read other reviews of this "company". Youll realize that these are not ordinary complaints. I truly feel violated and held hostage, as if they wish to cause suffering on purpose. How cold and calculatingly evil.

I absolutely hate buy.com. They sold me a refurbished GPS in an open box. When I got it, it was so scratched, I was embarrassed to put it in my car. They would not take it back without a restock fee. Theyve lost my business forever. I suggest you do the same.

Buy.com are scammers!They gave my creditcard info to RESERVATIONREWARDS and they charged me without getting my authorization.I found out that I am not the only one. Google for RESERVATIONREWARDS and buy.com and find see for yourself!

I hate the Checkout part where they prefill the last charge used. I generally error and blow right by it, since it does not default to a new card. There is no place to specify NOT to store your credit card information for the next shopping cycle!

hate this vendor. would never ever purchase from them again. purchased a $80 headset, stolen from my mailbox, never received item. Filed a police report, couldnt get a credit from them, then i just took it up with my CC and received a credit that way. Another instance, I purchased a memory card, then realized it was the wrong one, called up Buy.com after at MOST 2 minutes, tried to cancel, couldnt cancel and then the person told me to just purchase the card that I wanted and refuse delivery on my package of the unwanted item. The package was left at my doorstep, couldnt refuse delivery, gave it to the postoffice, UNOPENED to return to sender. Buy.com claims to never have received the item in the warehouse, and would not issue me a credit. Truly GAYED never will i buy from this vendor again

Buy.com is a drop shipper or virtual store. This means that they do not have real time inventory on items that they sell. Buy.com is notified by suppliers once every 24 hours of product availability. For this reason, you can receive a false positive that an item is available. Because of their lack of real time inventory, Buy.com employs a very vague order status system. For an item that was displayed as in stock and shipping in 1 to 2 business days, my order took 4 business days to ship. If you are attempting to purchase a product that is in demand, like I was, I would not purchase it from Buy.com. The item may already be out of stock when you place your order (Buy.com will not know - remember the 24 hour inventory updates?). If it goes out of stock before the warehouse processes your order, you will not be notified and your order will sit in the sent to warehouse status until it comes back in stock and can be shipped. I would not place an order with Buy.com again.
