As a working mom, I finally found time and updated my camcorder to a DVD recorder from Butterfly Photo. Customer service was so helpful and patient in providing me step-by-step guidance over the phone that it was as though they were sitting right next to me the whole time! This was a great shopping experience for me as a beginner and electroncally challenged customer.

My order was pending approval for 3 days before I decided to call. My order was back ordered yet the website said it was in stock at the time of the order. It said it was in stock when I canceled the order as well. Its extremely annoying when a customer service rep states "that item will be in stock tomorrow." At least they canceled the order quickly once I got them on the phone. Very annoying now my Paypal funds are tied up until Butterfly Photo aka (DOD Marketing) decides the remove the hold on my paypal account. I am fairly annoyed with paypal for allowing that as well.

They lie to me, first they give me a call to get a extended warranty and express shipping, i agree with all those term so i got the warranty and etc for extra $. They also promise me that they will ship the item out on the same day. i called them other day, the customer service said the tv is out of stock. i really dont know how this company work, customer service never pick up phone call or reply email. They have the cheapest price on net, but this is not how people run business. common......

I need to say that these guys are very good about following up on problems. I had a battery not being compatable and after I was irritaded by the long waits on the phone I complained. A few days later a customer service rep called me personally and took care of everything including shipping at no charge. He explained the system is being upgraded to better serve their customers and the upgrade has caused some problems. If you read the rest of the reviews, these guys are top notch. Not many internet companies would make that call over a small item. They went the extra mile and I highly recommend them. Good prices, fast shipment and good service.

Not only did I already get a great deal on the plasma tv, they upgraded the tv to the next higher model because it was discontinued. I got a call from Butterflyphoto 2 days after my order to verify my purchase. No pressure to buy warranty. I said "no" and that was it. I guess my only gripe is 2 days after the call I did not see any activity in status of my order(checked website). I called them and was told the item was discontinued and they needed my approval to replace it with the upgraded model. Of course I agreed but if I hadnt called, I would still be waiting for the TV. I cant complain though because that made up for the upgrade (worth $240) and the 2 day shippingm (free) I didnt even ask. I received the TV as advertised and the packaging was more than excellent. They must have unlimited amount of those bubble raps in steriods in addition to the MFGs packaging. Needless to say, the package arrive in great shape which worried me at first.

My plasma tv was the biggest and most expensive item Ive ever ordered on the internet and experienced no problems what so ever. Got a great deal and will recommend Butterfly to my friends and family.

I am very happy with the purchase and especially with the shipper (Manna Delivery, which seems to be who many of the NJ//NY etailers use). Local delivery is handled by local agents and Ive had two excellent experiences so far in Austin, TX. Butterfly photo was fine -- had by far the lowest price. Expect to wait a couple extra days though for them to ship, and they will probably contact you to ask about cables and extended warranties. Whether you say no or yes, they still send the product you purchased with no further hassle.
