    I could not determine from the website's product description whether the item being purchased is being sold as a new unopened boxed product OR a previsously opened box which was subsequently repackaged in a "brown box" and sold as opened stock. ie: New (BROWN BOX)/(Open Box) MonitorPACKAGE INFO: New (BROWN BOX)/(Open Box) Monitor will come with Power Cable, and VGA Cable. Remote Control also included. NO Manual - (Information Provided on Samsung Website). Warranty will be honored by Manufacturer with presentation of proof of purchase.

    When I decided on the product and Compu Direct it said no tax or shipping charges. When I ordered it add a $5.00 shipping charge. I feel as though I have been lied to. If it says no shipping there should be no shipping charges. I still have not received my order. today is 10 December 2009.

    Had no problems. However, I think the shipping weight was exaggerated to produce a higher shipping cost to help cover some revenue based on the very low price for the product. I weighed my current Microsoft wireless keyboard mouse combo including the original Microsoft packaging and it weighed 5 lbs. I realize you have to pack it in an additional box but doubling the weight seems excessive.

    Excellent price, timely confirmations for purchase and shipping, quick delivery. Packaging for shipping could have been better. One whole side of the box was completely torn open by UPS due largely to inadequate taping of the box. Fortunately, the item was not damaged, but I think it was a close call.
