I wanted to buy the brand-new Seagate Cheetah 15K.6 drives, and UpgradeBay seemed to be the first to get them in stock, on 5/27. I placed an order for four drives at $392 each.They claim they e-mailed me the next day to cancel the order because it wasnt in stock "anymore". Their e-mail bounced, because their system apparently removed some of the characters - though they claim there couldnt be any bugs in their system.They also claim that they DID eventually get it in, last week, but they sold all their drives to one person, and that they dont think theyll have it in again, despite the fact that they still list the product on their web site (at three times the price), and that their PriceGrabber feed even shows it as "in stock", and that theyre advertising "Big sale on" for the product SKU on Google!When I pointed out the illegality of advertising products you dont carry, their customer service rep said "What am I supposed to do about it?" Nothing, Joe. Nothing.

Good part: I am not sure..but I was lucky..until now..i didnt get my product yet..so didnt know its ok or not..However...there stock wasnt always updated in website according to some review..so i ordered through phone..and I was lucky that particular Hard disk was in stock..and the sales person was nice on the first day..i placed ordered on 9:52 am PST and the sales person confirmed me that the shipment will process on that same day..He emailed me the order number and promised me to email the invoice and tracking number on that day...Bad part: From Monday and today is Thursday I am call ing them evry day 2 to 3 times...to get the invoice and tracking number..some times he is busy and sometimes he told me my email was not working as he sent me the invoice ..well i also gave him an alternative email..on tuesday..well,no sign of invoice..And forgot about the tracking number...and on thusrday I just found that the orderd is shipped on yesterday afternoon...i got the trck on ph..

I should have listened to all the negative reviews, but I was swayed by the positive reviews. This company appears to be a crapshoot. Do you feel lucky? My product was listed as "in stock" and I paid for express 3-day delivery. In four days I called, and after a lot of work with the speed dial finally got through. They called back to say that the product was discontinued and offered a substitute. I said that the substitute was OK and they promised to ship immediately. Here we are a couple of weeks later and still no memory. Just got off the phone with them and they cant tell if the part is in stock because the inventory program wont be up for another 15 minutes. Right. They claimed to have sent me emails, but of course there were none. They never sent them. Nobody else reported issues getting emails through to me. They emailed me just fine to say they had received my order. The bottom line is that I would never recommend this company to anybody. They are dishonest.

Given the difficulty to reach someone and the lack of a way to track an order, I will never use this company again. I still have not received my part and I have no way to check the status as no one ever answers the phone no matter what extension I select. There seems to be a general disreagard for my order. I know its only a small purchase, but the lack of communication from UpgradeBay is unsatisfactory.

Very impressed with the Customer Service/Tech/Sales support. We needed a new screen for a laptop, and they found the exact one we needed. We had been searching in vain everywhere for the right screen, but Upgrade Bay found it for us quickly. VERY SATISFIED with the way this worked out.

I was told by a competitor that my order (with next day air)would take 46 days....I tried these guys out and 3 day shipping got it to me in 2 days, hard to find item and they got it too me with zero hassle, I will recommend Upgradebay to anyone who asks.

The salesperson was very helpful in helping me select the correct GBIC and cable for the Cisco switch. Would definately buy here again.
