Although I gave US1Camera 3 stars, let it be known that they had the most competitive pricing on their products than any other vendors out there. So for that, Im deeply satisfied with their prices. However, I am mixed when it came to shipping. Although my products arrived in a timely manner, it is hard when you are at work or away from home to sign for a package during the day. I am flattered that they required a signature for the package since the products I ordered were well over a thousand dollars- but the downside to this situation was that I needed my camera equipment for the next day and I had to drive almost 1 hour away to pick up my package from UPS the day I needed them for bridal pictures in a town 3 hours away. Again I have no quarrels with the requirement to sign for a package- however I wish they would have notified all buyers that they would do this. I have bought many expensive electronics from Crutchfield and other vendors without having to sign for my packages.

US1Camera had me nervous. It took me a while to convince myself to order from them. The reason I did was because the bad reviews were 3-4 years old.From my experience, this company seems a little under-staffed. My camera arrived as promised, brand new.I ordered a Sony HC9 camera, and it was incredibly cheap. $500 cheaper than most places. I am very impressed with some of the prices they have.When placing my order, I had no idea it would take 10 days to ship. Plus 4-7 days to process the order BEFORE shipping it. If you want your stuff quickly, pay for better shipping. I took free shipping and it took a long time.Also, I registered a customer account in hopes to get a tracking number on my order. I had to call them 3 different times to ask for it. Each time I was given the wrong tracking number. I think it was because they are understaffed and would rush the number over the phone. VERY unsatisfactory. They sat on my order for over a week before they actually shipped it (5 days after they were able to bill my credit card though). They claim that this is "normal". Customer service reps are rude and actually hung up on me twice which seems to indicate that they get a lot of calls questioning why this takes so long. You get what you pay for.

I placed my order (Nikon d300 w/ 18-200mm lens) using my secured MC credit card that I have used to purchased many times without problem. Several days later I checked on their website and saw that my order status listed as "Fraud orders". There were no emails or calls to my phone to followup or check my order. When I finally got hold of a person came on the other end I was told that they coulnt get an approval from my "bank". I told them that this is a credit card and I already gave my verification code so there is no "bank" to call. I called my credit card company afterward and was told that they didnt get any verification question from the vendor. Anyway, I ended up cancelling the order altogether and will probably not do any more business with this company.
