This is my second purchase from Butterfly Photo. I ordered a Sony KDL52W4100 TV on Monday. The TV was delivered on Friday halfway across the country. There was no damage and it worked perfectly out of the box. Great experience. Great price. No hassles, friendly people. I will not hesitate to buy from Butterfly again.

Great customer service. Shipping was prompt and all questions were answered responsively. Butterfly was not the lowest priced vendor for this product, but their excellent customer service compared to the low price vendor made the extra money worth it. Highly recommend them

Ordered Samsung LN46A650 and they offered warranty for $200 more and faster delivery with an extra $50 so that "the tv doesnt sit in Fedex warehouses for 12 days with the free delivery option". Whatever. Fedex doesnt take 12 days to deliver from NJ to Philadelphia. Politely turned him down. Got the TV on 8/14/08 without his "Speedy $50 extra option". Immediately notice a chip in the lower right corner Tv frame edge. TV shut off/on constantly after 5 minutes. Tv confirmed updated firmware(new firmware from samsung site) but still shut off/on-off/on in 5 minutes. Called them stating the TV malfunction and also noting the chipped frame. A friend(who owns same model) said its an open-box and pointed to the plastic wrapping around the tv stand thats missing around the tv frame. Upon closer look there are scratches next to serial# decal and below the power button. I know its an open/display TV, they know so too. Do Not Buy From Them. They refused my refund. Full review @ other sites.

Dealing with this company was like pulling teeth. 1st, after I placed the order I received a "courtesy call" to offer me additional goods and services under the guise that they were calling to confirm my order. 2nd, I purchased the 3 year warranty for $199.99 and did not received it or any iota of information about it, or even how to use it. All together these things made me hesitant about my order before it even arrived. Lastly, the TV was damaged upon arrival so I refused delivery and expect a full refund (which Ill have to wait another week for). Im doubtful my refund will even occur without fighting for it. *8/20/08* Like a self fulfilling prophecy I have still not received my refund. Now I must toil with email and phone calls to "customer service" agents that arent available after regular business hours.

Thanks for providing the 800 # as an alternative. I had a price question, and the individual from Butterfly that I contacted was very knowlegdable and helped me to clearly understand the products and differences between them.

At the time of purchase the items were the right price with shipping. My order arrived in satisfactory condition. Some exterior box damage on one package but the item was fine. Re-taping of the factory sealed box on the second item, which was supposed to be new, leads me to believe it might be refurbished. Two days after my purchase, before it was delivered, the price on one of my items dropped considerably. A call to customer service was just a waste of time. "Once its shipped, the sale is final". If I had made my purchase at a local store and the price dropped within a few days Im sure I would have been given a refund for the difference. I understand there needs to be a time limit on something like this but come on "Once its shipped...". Thats ridiculous! A week or two weeks at the most would be good business, in my opinion.
