    I googled and it seems many people receive a call from the merchant asking for personal info, even though Bill Me Later was not chosen as payment method. Feel very uncomfortable, would never have ordered had I known.Follow up: I ignored the online request for social security number and the product was shipped fine. I paid through PayPal. Unsure why it asked for this sensitive information. Unsure if I would buy from them again because of this. Everything else was great.

    I have purchased through TD for a number of years and have always been very satisfied. I like the occasional notes from Carl F, which makes it feel like more of a individual - to - individual transaction.

    I shop at Tiger Direct even when I'm home (close to Washington, DC) where I can find anything I want. Even better when I'm at my WV home where I don't have the selection I have in Northern Virginia. Have recommended this site to friends and family.The order came in on time, but the shipper left the item outside in the rain late at night. Had I not looked, the item could have been damaged; it was not. Otherwise I would have rated the condition as "excellent".

    If the order is processed and shipped as order, I will be very impressed.I did not have to back order so I don't remeber what the web site said about that process.My order arrived on the day I was told to expect delivery and in excellent condition.

    So far seems good! Sorry, but I don't recall exactly how many days it took to receive. Wasn't long. I'm guessing at the 5. It may have been over a weekend.
