I was disappointed with J&R. Their shipping service is very bad. I placed the order on Aug.21 but I received the shipping notice on Sept.4 (almost weeks later). They dont ship in 3 business days as they say on their website. For the second time, my camera was shipped much later than what they had told me over the phone. And it was shipped only when I called and told them that I was going to cancel my order if I dont receive my item by Thursday. Anyway, the camera arrived, but it was too late for the important events I needed it for! I dont think I would buy from J&R again.

Had good experiences with company over several years until now. We ordered two Apple iPod Touches which were descrbed on J&Rs website product description as the "software upgraded version","the latest iPod Touch", and "the new iPod Touch." Thinking we were ordering the "latest" iPod touch (the Generation II) we ordered two, however, received two Gen. I iPod touches instead. J&R offered us a $10 gift card in compensation. During our email exchanges they eventually admitted that this inaccurate descrition was left over from pre Generation II iPod touch days and that the "latest iPod Touch" referred to the FREE 1.1.4 firmwear upgrade of 1st Gen. Touch. Offer of compensation for our unwanted purchase of two Generation I iPod touches for $546 increased to a gift card of $20 or a $10 refund and no acceptance of responsibility for the inaccurate description listed online. As of the date of this posting they still havent bothered to modify the inaccurate product description on their site.

No explanation of shipping timeframe. Tracking info still has no delivery date 4 days after placing order.

Rating would have been Excellent except for the PITA secure log-in. I forgot my password and had to reset it. When I entered a new password it was accepted but then I was not able to logon to secure checkout and had to re-enter all my information. PITA!!!

Item was shipped the next day after ordering. Price was great and the were no shipping or sales tax charges.
