Strengths: This TV has excellent video performance and an acceptable range of video inputs. menus features are good an video is great in both bright and dark environments.

Weaknesses: None really w/ the exception of fewer inputs than my other TV. Considering the price of the set I'm not going to call this a true weakness.

Overall Evaluation: Great TV for the price. I have a 52" bravia in my living room which I'll admit cost alot more that my 32"Vizio, although I feel the Bravia is overall a better unit the Vizio performs exceptionally. I've wall mounted this unit in our bedroom and I'm very satisfied for $500 how can you go wrong?.

Strengths: Low Price. Bright display, great contrast. Vivid colors. VGA PC Input. 2 HDMI inputs. Very good speakers for such a small and inexpensive LCD.

Weaknesses: No-name brand doesn't get the recognition it deserves. More inputs would be great, but it's not lacking by any means.

Overall Evaluation: After owning multiple flat panel LCD and Plasma televisions, I can safely say that this is the best bargain out there right now. This TV was sitting next to a Toshiba, Philips, and a Sharp when I saw it. The store was managed by a very knowledgable staff, and the manager admitted he himself tweaked each TV to maximize it's visual quality. At the store all televisions had component inputs providing the video. The Vizio blew them away, in four main categories: Picture quality, brightness, color depth, and sound. And all for $350+ less than the next-lowest priced tv! This TV serves perfectly as a second tv for the den. I have my PC connected to it via the VGA input, and wireless keyboard and mouse. Now I browse the web and play solitare from the comfort of my lazyboy! Well-worth the price. My recommendation: Go to Costco and take a look yourself.

Strengths: Competitive price, good picture quality, lots of inputs

Weaknesses: Cheesy looking 3 color case, only s-video input is on the side of TV.

Overall Evaluation: For a Sub-$600 HDTV, I was pleasantly surprised at the build quality and the output. The default display settings need some considerable tweaking to get it just right. Brightness and contrast is good but easily washed out, so I turned them down. Speakers are of course small and kind of tinny but expected. Large lit vizio logo is annoying but does serve as on/off indicator, though I would have preferred a small unobtrusive LED instead. Its only 720p like other TVs in this range, but does accept 1080 signals. Remote isn't bad but text labels are small and it doesn't light up so using it in the dark is out of the question. OSD looks good and theres lots of settings I haven't even figured out yet. I would like to see an option to map out unused signal inputs, maybe it has it, I will keep looking. Overall a good deal if you want HD and lack the cash for the big boys of the industry(Japanese TVs).

Strengths: Price, easy hook ups and allows for flexibility the size provides for great veiwing range for small apartments

    Weaknesses: none

Overall Evaluation: I have a surround sound, pc,dvd players, and games systems all hooked into this tv and it is taking it all like a champ. There haven't been any problems with this other that the color sometimes changes during movie play and this is due to the fact that I don't have a high def dvd player or the component cables for high def clarity. If I move to a bigger play I will be purchasing another because I've fallen in love with it. Although a new brand on the market I think that Vizio is great in comparison to other higher named brands. It has exceeded expectations.

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: great picture, affordable, lots of inputs, easy to use

    Weaknesses: can't think of any

Overall Evaluation: when doing my comparison shopping, i found that the picture on the budget TVs were pretty much just as good as the ones on the higher end ones. so, i chose this over the sony, sharp, and samsung models because the marginal difference in picture quality wasn't worth the $200-$500 premium. also, most of my DVDs are standard definition so 720p is plenty of resolution for me.when i hooked up an analog connection to TV, the picture was just alright. but when i used HDMI (through my sony NS77H DVD player) the picture was really quite terrific. absolutely worth what i paid at Costco.i've heard some people complain about the picture quality on this TV, but i would bet it has more to do with setup than the TV itself. make sure you use HDMI and have a DVD player with decent upscaling. also, make sure you play around with the picture settings a bit and get the right colors and brightness.

Strengths: Excellent price, great colors, adjustable pictures, 2 HDMI and multiple other inputs, fantastic picture quality

    Weaknesses: N/A

Overall Evaluation: Vizio's 32" LCD HDTV is a fantastic buy! The picture quality is comparable to top line sets that cost double or even triple what this one does. The features speak for themselves. Challenge any impartial viewer to tell the difference between the Vizio picture and the picture on a Sharp or Samsung model--they won't be able to unless they read the label! I don't know where some people are coming from when they say the color scheme is ugly...looks fantastic as far as I'm concerned.

Overall Evaluation: WE PREVIOUSLY PURCHASED A 42" VIZIO HD TV FOR OUR FAMILY ROOM AND WERE SO IMPRESSED WITH ITS CLARITY, EASE WITH INSTRUCTIONS AND PROGRAMMING, AND SOUND SYSTEM. WE THEN DECIDED TO PURCHASE A SECOND 32" FOR MY SON TO PLAY HIS XBOX 360, HE COULDN'T BE HAPPIER.

Strengths: Price, PQ, inputs, picture adjustment options

Weaknesses: No removable speakers (not common, but an option that I'd like), speakers have an odd shape, vizio logo can be a little distracting

Overall Evaluation: I'm very glad I purchased this LCD TV. I have it connected to a home theater computer through D-Sub (I wish it would work correctly using HDMI, but I've had no luck) to watch movies, tv, and play games. There are a lot of picture adjustment options which is good especially if you have a calibration disc to maximize image quality. Of all the budget LCDs, this was the one I found to be the best quality and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

Overall Evaluation: Great price, good image quality, lots of options so you can tweak the image until it's perfect, and lots of inputs. I had a samsung 720p lcd before this and with a little tweaking it looks just as good. I'm a college student and this is perfect for my Xbox 360. Also, the QAM tuner allows me to watch channels such as FOX,CBS, NBC, etc. in HD for free. The sound is weak, but this is a common complaint with flat TV's. I have everything hooked up to a surround sound system so this in not an issue. Also, it isn't the sexiest looking TV ever but it performs well.
