    Weaknesses: slow processor

Overall Evaluation: This is a good smartphone with touchscreen and wifi.It comes with windows mobile 6.0. It should be easy to use if you have used windows mobile 5.0 before. I wish it is a little bit skinnier. It is not responsive since it has a slower processor.

    Duration of ownership:2 Days

Strengths: Price, WM6, QUERTY keyboard & touch screen, WIFI, Bluetooth, variety of hacks and applications available.

Weaknesses: A bit Bulky, a bit slow, no gps receiver, stock leather case not good at all.

Overall Evaluation: I use this phone for 2 month and like it so far. Applied patch to improve memory use but still hesitate to over clock it.It is slow especially when switch between applications. Camera is worthless, not that I need it at all.Reception is good, Bluetooth and WiFi are working good. Case that came in the box is not well designed and makes it difficult to answer the call. Would be nice to have GPS receiver not that I really need it too :) This PDA phone served perfectly for replacing my older phone & Palm pair, and may be will replace MP3 player when I get bigger memory card.

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: touch screen, slide out keyboard

    Weaknesses: size, initial slowness

Overall Evaluation: This phone is great when it comes to features. Windows Mobile has an amazing amount of third party software, and is very hackable. It does require some initial tweaking to get the software running smoothly, however. The touch screen and slide out keyboard are awesome, the stylus is also useful at times. The phone is still a little big for my tastes, but its definitely manageable. Overall this is a great phone.

    Duration of ownership:1 Weeks

Strengths: QWERTY keyboard + touchscreen, battery life

Weaknesses: Data speeds are not up to par with other carriers

Overall Evaluation: Query for "T-Mobile Wing tweaks" on the search engine of your choice and you will find a couple of free applications for the Wing that will let you overclock the CPU and change the page pool size from 12 megs to 6. I now have over 18 megs of free RAM upon startup with markedly improved performance with the CPU running at 247 Mhz. For the price, the Wing is tough to beat.

Overall Evaluation: An update to the MDA, the Wing has a slide out keyboard and runs Windows Mobile 6. It is considerably slimmer than its predecessors and faster, but still not fast enough. Wm6 interface is good and easy to use with great programs preinstalled.Alao included is extra stylus and free case and screen protector.

Strengths: Windows Mobile 6Sliding KeyboardBattery life

Weaknesses: Bulky, heavySlow 200 MHZ Processor, sluggish with anything more than 1 application open.Intermittent Freezing, requires soft resetTouch screen sometimes not responsivePoor Camera quality

Overall Evaluation: I have been using this phone for almost 2 weeks now. Though it might seem like quite a deal for a beginner who needs to perform very simple time/task management on the go without having to carry a PDA and a phone, it falls short of the need of advanced business users who need to multitask and who have been pampered by much more advanced devices such as high end Blackberries and iPhones. I like the phone design and the sliding keyboard. Call me old fashioned, but I always preffered a real keyboard over a virtual touch screen one. It's also one of the very few smart phones with the latest MS Windows Mobile 6. However, as we know about MS OS, the operating system is sluggish and needs far more processing power than the 200 MHZ processor the Wing is equipped with. Having more than 2 applications running will bring the device down to its knees and might even jeoparadize the phone function! Yes, the phone is just an application that takes processor cycles just like any other. The sound quality is pretty good, but for some reason the mic seems to emphasize background noise. My friends tell me that they can hear people walking and talking around me much clearer than they hear me! Speakerphone is little distorted and will not be very useful in a noisy atmosphere. The touch screen is not always responsive and I believe its again an effect of the overall sluggishness of the device. In 2 weeks I had to soft reset the device twice, which is too much for today's smartphones, specially if it freezes when you're not aware and you risk missing calls and important notifications. Camera quality is subpar and has lots of yellow hue though the pictures came out sharp and in focus. In conclusion, it's a good phone if all you need is to show off your toy around, but if you have real business need for a smartphone, you should reconsider.

    Updated:10-16-07

    Duration of ownership:1 Months

Strengths: Great appeal with casual midnight blue; Running with the latest Windows Mobile 6

Weaknesses: A little bit bulky; a bit sluggish when running multiple demands.

Overall Evaluation: It's my first Smart Phone which is better than I expect. The phone has blue rubbery skin which feels better than conventional plastic phones. With integrated Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity as well as the latest Windows Mobile 6 operating system, you could have most of the entertainment like web browsing, videos and musics. Combined with a bluetooth GPS locator, the GPS function works like a charm. Although the camera resolution is limited to 2M, the picture quality is still good. Some cons: 1. The phone is a little bit bulky. 2. The stereo headset uses USB port which is shared with battery charging. You could not make a call with headset when it's charging. (Well, you could use bluetooth headset instead.) 3. The processor is a bit slow.

Strengths: browserMP3 playerwindows media player2mp camerawindows mobile 6outlook sync with CD and comes with case and stylus x2

Weaknesses: slow processor but not horrible.

Overall Evaluation: the phone is incredible. I've seen blackberrys and the Dash and this thing is far better. Wifi alone makes it useful for me. I have Wifi from ATT for 1.99 a month at B&N, UPS...etc. so I'm not getting the 30$ plan. nor do I need the 5.99 a month plan with workaround. just started a new job and the fact that I can use it as a pocket PC and sync to my work server via outlook makes it worth the 99$. the keyboard is easy to use and button press easily. the only hang up is I dont know how to get the screen protector on without bubbles forming. camera is excellent and u gotta love the 2.8 inch LCD. btw, the phone works easy and calls are clear. finally it has Windows media player and with a 2B microSD card, I have and MP3 player and a video player (battery life will prob suffer).no longer will I need my lappie whenever I travel!!I've tried both iPhone and the wing and my bottom line, iPhone better but would not pay more than 250$ for it. otherwise for 99$ this is a steal.
