Strengths: Protect computer
Weaknesses: Slow computer way down
Overall Evaluation: This feels like all the other programs that are out there.I have much better luck detecting and restoring computer at earliest sign of trouble. Good for those who don't grasp restoring computer.

Overall Evaluation: it is a good software. You know, I ever used norton software. However, that software let my computer work slowly.So I have to try to use other one. My friend recommned this one to me.

Strengths: easy to use
Weaknesses: till now no
Overall Evaluation: compare to Norton or Mcafee stuff, CA internet security plus has two imposing features, first, it takes less memory when it runs anti-virus scan; second, in my opinion, it can detect more potential virus like trojian or spyware virus. So it is not a bad stuff.I would stick to it a long while.

Overall Evaluation: The program takes up a lot of disk space and takes a a significant bite out of system resources. Aside from that, it has proven to be stable and untroublesome. In brief, not the best value for your money.

Strengths: All protection that I expected, nice-looking interface, easy to use, improvement from previous version
Weaknesses: make the pc start up a bit slow
Overall Evaluation: This version adds more modules to old one, and the installation was slow because the update took place during the installation. It was even delayed by unnecessary fluff such as the installation of the Yahoo toolbar and the brazen harvesting of marketing information as a prerequisite for 'virus protection coverage'. I hate it. Other than that, it works well.

Weaknesses: Does make the start u a bit slow
Overall Evaluation: Overall I have been using CA for a while, this product isn't the worst out there. I would recommend this is you can get it at a good price and a all-in-one package is what you are looking for.

Weaknesses: Firewall fails to stealth all the ports
Overall Evaluation: According to my use and professional reviews, this year's version is a great improvement over the previous versions. The improvement is in firewall, antispyware. The firewall is now more robust. It also now includes phishing web site inspection. On the down side, the firewall fails to stealth all the ports

Strengths: Easy to use
Weaknesses: Unless you get it on sale, it is too expensive
Overall Evaluation: This is a good software package in that it can address all or most of your computer security issues in one simple and easy to use application. I have used a Symantec product in the past, and this CA product about equals it as far as price, ease of use and overall utility. Basically, the products are pretty much the same and I haven't had problems with either. The suggested retail price (about $70) is too pricey though. Find a deal on it if you can. It shouldn't be too hard to do that on PriceGrabber.
