    Duration of ownership:6 Months

    Strengths: Very good user interface, Works well with Windows Server 2003, comes with form based authentication and spell check for web interface, and as with most Microsoft products easy to setup and use.

    Weaknesses: Virus prone, only runs on Windows, less control than with Linux equivalents, and on an enterprise basis almost requires a third party tool to control mail database.

    Overall Evaluation: Exchange is a very good product for small and medium size businesses. It is easy to setup and works rather well. The old days of viruses bringing down the server are almost over. However, it has a long way to go before it is a customizable and secure as its competitors.
