    Strengths: Easy install. Straight forward instructions.

    Weaknesses: None

    Overall Evaluation: This product was recommended by a local professional IT who has been using various versions of the newegg True Image for some time. I ordered and received the product in the specified time. It was easy to is-tall even for a novice like me. I certainly recommend this product to anyone who have files they do not want to loose.

    Overall Evaluation: Love the software. Hate the user experience.Installed the trial version, reboot required. Liked the trial version so bought a copy. No way to enter the serial code in the trial version to upgrade to full version. Uninstalled the trial version, reboot required. Install the full version, reboot again. Found out the full version is out of date. Went to the support site. No downloadable version without registering. So registered, waited for an email to validate registration. Logged into the acronis site. Must register your product's serial code before obtaining an update. But wait, their website has a bug that won't let you register the product. Tried to email support to get my copy registered. Can't email them because you need to register your product before getting support, which is why I'm trying to email them. Shockingly bad user experience.This is the only consumer software company that demands user and product registration before providing bug fixes. They provide no way to update your software from within the program as many others do.Acronis, you stink!

    Strengths: Nice user inter face, Accurate, Fast, and many different ways to store back up harddrive images and good file compression ratio

    Overall Evaluation: After pulling my hair out with Norton Ghost 10 Free trial, I started the hunt for a Backup & Restore Software that would be faster, easier to use, and light on memory hogging. Acronis True image 9 impressed me with website reviews like cnet & user comments. So I download there Free Trial put it to use instantly. Within an hour of install, I understood the basic functions of the program, and created a full backup of my drive, for a complete restoration if need be (having lost family photo's and video's to virus about 2 years ago, I wonted a good back up solution.). The backup went cleanly and fast, I thought almost to fast just 4 minutes. I then wonted to test the back up image, so i did, it took only 4 minutes to restore, it was perfect no missing files at all, it restored the drive entirely without any issues! What a rewarding feeling! Thank you Acronis True image 9 HOW it restore's image files, if you do a complete restore of C: Drive, it will Formats C: Drive and then restore the images file, so you will have no virus or old program files in the background, it will be fresh and new like the original image file you made, now how smart is that a clean install nice. but there are many other ways to restore image files to. RAD support yes there is RAD support for thow?s that have RAD hard drives. I have use Acronis True image 9 over and over again and it works, it has never failed me at all. The Acronis Company also builds ALL of there own software so they strive for excellence and quality all around. Flawless! Absolutely marvelous! I also tried the Norton Ghost 10 Free Trial, but it is more of a incremental and check point style of backing up sort a like window XP does and i really don't like that at all. I'd recommend Acronis to anyone looking for a very robust backup & restore program that runs cleanly & without problems or hassles. Hay just go to Acronis website and try there 15 day trail you will love it and then you will buy it, you have nothing to lose at all a Free Demo. here's my computer build below Windows XP Pro CPU 3500 AMD Athlon 64 motherboard MSI Neo platinum 2 (Nforce3 chip set) Video Card PNY Geforce 6800 GT harddrive Western digital PS if you decide to buy the software i saw it at www.newegg.com for $29.99 as a download or a retail box for $34.00 PS if you buy it, first uninstall the Trial version and then install the Full version you bout.
