    Overall Rating: 5 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Great feel of phone, menus are easy to use, excellent sound quality and reception. The speaker phone is very handy and easy to use.

Weaknesses: Hard to see screen in bright daylight. Very poor selection of ringtones. Computer software only works with a PC, not a Mac. The battery only lasts two days with regular use, and could be better.

Overall Evaluation: My AT&T TDMA phone was starting to get poorer and poorer reception. I was very tempted to get a cool looking Razr Phone, but many (including a young guy at the Cingular Store) told me that they were flimsy and broke easily. This phone has all the features of the Razr but was free after rebate. Since there were three of us on a family plan the choice was $300 or $0 and I opted for the $0. I didn't like the fact that I had to manually put in all my phone number (over 100) as the synching software and USB cable only work with a PC, not a Mac. However it was pretty easy to do. The phone is actually quite simple to work and drops very few calls. The reception is quite good too. We disabled all the internet features as you can get charged for them by pressing the wrong button at the wrong time. We have no use for text messaging or surfing the web. All-in-all, the three of us like the phone and service very much. I would never have anything but a flip phone for the ease of holding and feel.
