Strengths: None identified.
Weaknesses: Incompatible with Vista
Overall Evaluation: I was looking for an inexpensive TV/video card. I have plenty of experience with All-In-Wonder line so I immediately went to ATI. It looked (to me at least) like this was the last AIW card they made, seems like they wanted you to buy a video card and a separate capture card which I did not want to do. So I bought this thinking surely it's compatible with Vista, it came out only 2 years ago. Installed card, installed software, radio worked, but when I went to TV, no love. Went around and around with ATI/AMD and after three emails they finally owned up that this product was not compatible with Vista. Had to be returned.

Strengths: Well I had no problems setting two of these in a crossfire configuration and no problems with install or drivers.
Weaknesses: Windows Media Center roll up 2 would not see the second cards tuner in order to set up a dual tuner (dual satelite tv) media center pc. A little trouble running movies on my big screen with only one.
Overall Evaluation: I purchased two of these cards to set up a dual tuner media center pc. I am running them on an Asus P5LD2 Deluxe motherboard with a Pentium D 3.0 and 2 gigs of DDR2 800 memory. Everything set up fine and it found both cards but would only see the tuner on the first card. After months of trying to get help through ATI, updating and reinstalling drivers, catalyst etc. and changing around the two cards to ensure it wasn't a problem with one of the cards, I had to purchase a TV wonder 650 HD tuner pci card to be my second tuner. It found the 650 tuner right away and set up everything perfectly. I currently still have both video cards in the pci-e slots to run them as crossfire since a single x1300 card did not do too well with more demanding games and DVD movie playback. It runs WOW well with the crossfire but I am really considering changing them out for an AIW 1900 and a 1900gt for the primary tuner and crossfire video card. The card worked well and as a tuner and I had no problems setting up the satelite signal so I can't say anything bad about it. Also the failure of media center to see both cards as tuners was not a card failure just incompatibility with MCE in that configuration. It is fine for a mid ranged video card and tuner but if you want to set up a dual tuner or you want higher video performance for gaming or multi purpose entertainment system, you very well may have the same trouble I had with trying to use two of these. The Good was the cards seem to work well for what they are, the Bad was the incompatibility of two of these with MCE and the Down Right Ugly is what I have had to spend so far on the two AIW cards and ATI 650 HD tuner to get this system up and running properly not to mention the cost of changing cards if that is what I ultimately end up doing.

Strengths: NONE
Weaknesses: Flaky Drivers, Shoddy Software, No Tech Support, Very Poor Picture Quality
Overall Evaluation: ATI Support is almost non-existent. I opened a ticket online and ALL I ever got back was "Remove and re-Install the Software" I called and after an hour long wait, got the same via phone. The driver package for some reason will not install correctly and conflicts with other software on the system (fresh XP SP2 install) Replaces an MS DLL and makes other software stop working (Roxio) Finally I bothered them so much they refused to answer more questions- I will NEVER purchase another ATI product ! ! !

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: PCIx, DVI, TV Tuner, FM Tuner
Weaknesses: Single DVI, x1300 isn't powerful enough for hardcore gaming.
Overall Evaluation: This is a very good card for the price. However, it isn't the most powerful graphics card for hardcore gaming. I have it hooked up to a HDTV monitor at 1920x1080 and for most applications it works fine. The card works perfectly with Windows XP Media Center Edition. You can get the same features but with a better GPU in the x1900 All-In-Wonder card but it is also twice the price of this card. All in all a good value but if you have money to burn on your system then I would go with the x1900 version.

Strengths: Works exactly as I expected. Great for video capture & PVR purposes.
Weaknesses: X1300 chip is kind of slow. Not great for games.
Overall Evaluation: This card works great so far! I installed it, loaded the software, and everything just worked. Composite & S-Video in, plus TV tuner. Love the video capture and time shifting capabilities. No regrets for me! :)

Strengths: none
Weaknesses: Tv tuner has issues would not scan past 40.
Overall Evaluation: I owned an AIW card in the past, thought this would be a simple upgrade with same functionality. No such luck, and now due to waiting for tech support to tell me that there is no fix for problems can no longer take product back for refund. This is the last ATI product I will ever purchase.

Strengths: Easy Installation
Weaknesses: TV Tuner poor. Very poor documentation, they should have saved the trees. It's a real joke.
Overall Evaluation: Got the card so I could use my PC as a PVR. I had an ATI All-In-Wonder 9000 AGP that worked fine, but needed the new card to go in the PCIE slot in a new computer. I have cable in my house. First, the card had very snowy reception and fuzzy sound and the tuner wouldn't "find" any channel above 47. I thought that the jack may be the problem even though the TV that had been attached had great reception. Moved the computer and attached it to the jack that was attached to my old ATI card, reception was better, picture was clearer, sound a lot better, but still no channels above 47. (The old card auto-detected channels up to 88.)Contacted ATI support, their first response was to suggest that I delete and reinstall all of the software. (I have to give them credit, although wrong, they did respond within 12 hours.)I responded that it seemed to be a tuner problem and not a software issue. ATI support then informed me that there was a known issue with the AIW X1300 PCIE card and their engineers were working to find a solution. They recommended that I return the card and purchase their $400, X1800 AIW model.Don't they test these thing before they decide to sell the darn things??

Strengths: Price, software
Weaknesses: None
Overall Evaluation: I have been using ATI All-In-Wonder cards for years. I purchased this card when I upgraded to a new PCI Express motherboard. With the $30 rebate, it was a very good deal. So far, I have not had any problems, but I am not a gamer and only use this card to add TV input capabilities.
