    Overall Rating: 5 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:1 Months

Strengths: Does very good job - clear type - looks good.

Weaknesses: Is slow, needs some way of setting disk straight other than plastic template.

Overall Evaluation: For the price it does a very nice job. I like the fact that I can use my computer to set it up. Beats using a marker to print by 1,000 percent.

    Duration of ownership:2 Months

Strengths: Ease of use.Compact designQwerty keyboardStand alone use, or use with a PC.Preview of your label, prior to printing.

Weaknesses: Will only print upon discs with a special or certain coating. There is no listing of the manufacturer(s) that make this type of disc, contained within the documentation.

Overall Evaluation: I would have liked receiving some sort of documentation/warning, pertaining to the type of blank disks that can be printed upon with the purchase of the CW-75. During the purchase of the CW-75, I also purchased a 100 blank disk spindle. There's no problem recording to the disks, but after recording upon the media, I find that the disks have a coating, that won't allow the thermal printer to personalize them. Of course, you may purchase blank disks directly from Casio, but, they are rather pricey. Maybe, they'll change the type of printer head, or the type of ink ribbon being used, or let someone know the brand name of disks which can be used with this product,(other than their own.)

    Duration of ownership:10 Days

Strengths: Great computer software, I really like the preview function that you can see the exactly outcome on your disc. You can print any jpeg file on the disc and the printout just great.

Weaknesses: Power adaptor is optional for $24.99. For a product priced at $100, I don't feel very good on this additional expense.

Overall Evaluation: Over all, ti's a great printer. I really like the idea to print on the disc cause I ugly handwriting. The keyboard function is not very useful because I connect to the computer all the time. Their software is a gem, copy and paste, why bother with typing on the small keyboard.

    Duration of ownership:2 Weeks

Strengths: Keyboard included in this model for independent use, Portable due to it's ability to use batteries

Weaknesses: Only IBM compatible, the AC adapter is sold seperately on this model

Overall Evaluation: I purchased this item for my boyfriend who is in the music industry. It arrived promptly from J&R and looks great as far as the design. However, I was dismayed when I saw just how many batteries it required to operate and would recommend that buyers include the additional AC adapter in their cart since purchasing batteries every time the machine needs them comes out very pricey.

    Duration of ownership:4 Days

    Strengths: Prints quickly

Weaknesses: It's not easy to figure out. It would be nice to not have to do two steps for top and bottom. Also, I have to get u p and turn it on manually even after clicking the print button on the screen

Overall Evaluation: I have seen cheaper and more advanced models (but without keyboard) since ordering this one. They have options for different patterns, combined colors, etc, which I would like to see in the Casio model. I do like the small size.

Strengths: easy to use, batteries included, many fonts, professionallooking results. Very quick.

Weaknesses: no AC adapter, but I would not use it anyway.

Overall Evaluation: Ink looks durable. The instructions recommmend that you label the disc prior to burning. J&R was very quick in sending. I do not think the ink will come offvery easily such as in a plastic folder.

    Overall Rating: 4 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:3 Days

Strengths: Works as advertised. Prints right onto the CD/DVD surface. Easy to use with computer software interface.

Weaknesses: Expensive label tape cartridges. No AC adapter included as with the CW-50. Somewhat clunky construction.

Overall Evaluation: I had high hopes for the CW-75. After seeing it in the SkyMall catalog on a recent flight, I searched the web for the lowest price and bought it at J&R for $79.95 after rebate. Pretty good compared to SkyMall's $199 price. The printer arrived in good condition in adequate packaging. I had heard that it was easiest to use via a computer, so I immediately loaded the included software/drivers and connected the printer via USB. The printer was recognized by Windows XP right away and I was printing onto my first disc within minutes. Not bad for Windows. The included software is pretty good with lots of different templates and options. You can use any font that is loaded on your system. The printed titles come out looking fairly professional, if not a little jagged around the edges. All in all pretty good. I do have concerns about the lettering transferring to plastic sleeves that may come in contact with the disc surface. I also wonder if the lettering will scratch off. But all in all, the printer does exactly what I need it to do. I'm sure I'll get around to using it standalone one of these days.
