  Weaknesses: after 5 times format it can not be used anymore

  Overall Evaluation: I wonder how many times you can format and record again on it, i have bought bunch of these cds but after recording like 6 or 7 times it gets worn and i can not read from the disk any more. It is a waste of money

  Strengths: I can use the disk over and over again, don't have to think abount tape brakege.

  Weaknesses: Only small time recorded

  Overall Evaluation: I have used this for a couple of month and so far so good. Price is higher than DVD-R, but you should use many times. "Sony" brand really is hassle free.I bought this product for my Sony DVD403.This is my 1st purchase for this Product. As I found this RW is most cost effective than buying more DVD-R. Also since it is a product of Sony, there is no point to look against Picture, sound and recording quality. I am very much satisfied with this product.

  Strengths: independent case, convenient use;no "sony disk recommended" message popping up;with functions satisfying my need, like rewritability, creating menu while finalizing the disc;smooth use,no cratch

  Weaknesses: can't be played before being finalizied on other DVD devices

  Overall Evaluation: I have used this for a couple of days and so far so good. Price is higher than DVD-R, but you should use at least some of them for practice without costing more. Genuine "Sony" brand really is hassle free.

  Strengths: Absolutely the greatest..

  Weaknesses: none to mention thus far...

  Overall Evaluation: I have compared this particular DVD -RW to others that I've used (wont mention the names) but Sony definitly outdoes the others. the compatability between the media and the machine gives me great deal of comfort that the photos and videos I take are maintained without degradation and after shooting and erasing and shooting again I still get over-the-top resolution. Dependabilty is formost in my mind as I have to shoot a lot of videos in low-light museums and galleries for reviews and the presentations have to be high-quality. I can use these disks over and over and will definitely be ordering more for extended filming and storage...

  Strengths: It can be overwritten hundered of times, movies or pictures can be edited wiht the handycam if desired.

  Weaknesses: It mustbe finalized in order to play on a DVD player.Not so with the DVD+RW.

  Overall Evaluation: The fact that the disc can be overwritten many times is a plus, Wich means that it can be reuse that is a great feature and a mony saver. Brand and quality you can't go wrong. I recommend this product.

  Weaknesses: Compared with other media, price is a little high.

  Overall Evaluation: For my Sony DVD Cam 403, it works very well. Though it takes some time to copy the contents to big DVD, I like this product very much because of its high quality.
