Duration of ownership:90 Days
Strengths: Easy to use, fast, compact and accurate color.
Weaknesses: None at this price point.
Overall Evaluation: I have several color calibration units costing from $250 to $1200 that I use on my work machines. This creates a profile that is 90-95% as good as my $1200 unit for less than $100. If you need multi-monitor profiling, get the Huey Pro which I also use.

Strengths: Don't Know
Weaknesses: Won't Support Dual Monitors
Overall Evaluation: One of the main reasons I bought this product was to help get my monitors looking more alike. I use them as one wide screen and the colors are slightly different on each. Below is what I found on Pantone's support site AFTER buying and trying the product:PANTONE huey is not designed to calibrate multiple monitors attached to the same computer. If you have dual monitors and your video card supports multiple monitor calibrations, you should check out the higher-end display calibrators such as the Eye-One®Display 2 or Eye-One®Display LT.

Strengths: Compact, ease of use, good price, does the wonders
Weaknesses:
Overall Evaluation: I am so glad to see the difference that this Huey can make after calibrating the monitor with it. In the past, such kind of accessories cost a lot more. For less than one hundred, I think it is one of the best accessories if you are serious with digital photography or at least you want do some good adjustments on your digital pictures. The calibration is easy to carry out. And the result is amazing ? you know exactly (or very close) what you can get after the photo is printed.

Strengths: small and cheap
Weaknesses: rubber sticky pads don't gripodd colors
Overall Evaluation: I think I like this, but it takes some getting used to. Once the auto color/lighting compensation kicks in, everything on the CRT looks kind of "washed out." OTOH, I think it's supposed to! Also, to recalibrate, you have to stick this on the monitor (literally) with the rubber suction cups build on to the back of this. I found that after a few days, they wouldn't grip unless you wet them. Then you have to clean the glass afterward.

Strengths: Fast, easy to use, compact
Weaknesses: Don't care to use suction device on LCD screen.
Overall Evaluation: Turns out the one purchased was defective and gave a red hue to the screen but after contacting the company another was received in record time and functions perfectly. Great response, great attitude, great support. Love the colors very true to life for picture print support.

Strengths: Inexpensive, easy to use, makes a big difference
Weaknesses: Software is too simple
Overall Evaluation: I tested the Huey on 3 LCD monitors. On all three, it made the pictures softer. My old settings just had too much contrast. The result looked a little too subdued at first, but look closely, I can find extra shades of color which were washed out before. The software doesn't support dual monitor setup. It always runs on the primary monitor. On windows XP, you can switch your primary monitor and run the setup again to create a color profile for your second monitor. I wish the software can tell me more about the calibration result. Not all monitors can be tuned to perfection. I have two LCD monitors from different manufactures. After calibrating both, one still displays warmer picture than the other. I can't tell which one is more accurate from the software. Overall, I'm glad that I bought the Huey. It can help me to get the most out of my monitors and cameras.

Strengths: Compact, simple and it works!
Weaknesses: The thin cable looks fragile but works just fine.
Overall Evaluation: Working with my photos are more convenient now that I have the Huey. I'm more confident that what I see on my screen will show more accurately on the web. Setting up is easy but just make sure you do the software update before using it. Running it don't take more than a minute or two then you can forget about it until about a certain time when it asks you to recalibrate again (after 4 weeks?). I love the way it adjusts according to the light in the room. Just make sure there is nothing in the sensor's path. A very good buy for the budget conscious. I don't really see anything negative.

Strengths: Price, ease of use, quality of correction.
Weaknesses: A little flimsy.
Overall Evaluation: This unit is great. I didn't want to spend the big bucks on the other brands or Pantone's higher end units. I'm a home user that wants his monitor calibrated so his pictures look right, and print right. Well, this little unit did the trick. Calibrated my LCD nicely. I like the result. I'm going to do my laptop next. I don't use the 'light adjust' feature. I'm not sold on needing it. We'll see.Overall:very satisfied. But I'm sure I'd buy a more expensive one if I could afford it, and/or required it. The more you pay, the more features you get. But for the casual home user, this is great.
