Duration of ownership:1 Years
Strengths: Fast, Nice color printing, low upfront cost
Weaknesses: maintenance
Overall Evaluation: This thing seems like a constant need machine. frequent toner cartridges, Color PCU, Black PCU, Waste toner cartridge, and a couple minor mechanical problems fixed under warranty. Most of these costs are not very high, but when they occur, it takes the printer out of service, always at the worst possible time.

Strengths: Low upfront cost, relatively low per-page cost, quality construction (built like a tank), large paper tray, nice printer driver options, PostScript 3.
Weaknesses: None that I can think of.
Overall Evaluation: This is a quality printer, with a large monthly duty cycle (50,000 pages) compared to other printers in its price range. The high capacity toner carts are a nice feature (7,000 pages black; 6,000 color) Overall, they give a low per-page cost. I am really pleased with this printer. It's fast (22 ppm) and gives a professional edge to my work (mapping, cartography). The duplexing unit makes printing very slick ... the duplexer seems a little pricey for the plastic you get, but I think it's worth it anyway.

Strengths: Super sharp printer that never came out of my inkjet printer. The speed is phenomenal. It is super easy to use. The print quality is outstanding. Doesn't kill my computer start-up like my inkjet did.
Weaknesses: Didn't say they were selling the printer with the half filled toner cartridges. You may need some help setting-up because of the 72 lb weight.
Overall Evaluation: The Ricoh printer is a major leap over the inkjet printer. It hold a ream of paper in loading and you can add additional paper. It prints beautiful pictures 8 x 11 with a click. This is what I thought a printer should be. I will never have to worry if I have to print something again how the color will look.

Strengths: Speed, size and quality
Weaknesses: Paper tray
Overall Evaluation: I looked to many different vendors for a laser color printer and the overall value and quality was what made me select the Aficio. I am more than pleased with the quality and speed of the output. I am very proud of the quality of work I am now able to place in front of my clients. The setup and use was simple and fast.

Strengths: Print qualitySpeedSharp imageI used the same printer to print my professional business class business cards. Customers cannot tell this is not done on the professional $40k printer. Get it!
Weaknesses: No duplexing unit. No network cable.
Overall Evaluation: I love this printer. Before I bought this printer we have used it at work for about 6 months. Most of our publishing for PRing is done with this printer. It is a workhorse. Guys, forget HP, Xerox and Epson, this is the best one for the money. Trust me, I have done lots of research on the matter. Get it, you will not be disappointed.

Strengths: Best color I've ever seen out of a printer. The speed is also excellent. The price is the lowest I've seen so far for a laser printer.
Weaknesses: Frankly, I couldn't find any. I've only had one paper jam in it, and getting that solved was a bit tricky, but nothing unusual for a printer of this sort
Overall Evaluation: This product is kind of like DSL vs. dial-up. Once you have one of these, you'll never go back an ink-jet again. I've never seen color this good come out of a printer, and I actually enjoy showing off what it can do to my friends and associates. Truly, the best of class, in my experience.

Strengths: Fast at 22 ppm both black and color. 1200 dpi. Easy setup. Reasonably priced.
Weaknesses: No standard duplexer.
Overall Evaluation: I chose this printer after comparing the HP2600dn & Samsung CLP510.Even though the duplexer is optional, I liked the fast speed, and the price (both for the unit and the toners).Install has been easy with no surprises at all. The unit seems well built, and the doors and parts were pretty intuitive. Also, instructions were plenty and accurate.I use this printer in a home office environment, and I give it high marks. So far, the best I've seen after owning Epson, HP & Xerox printers and used other more expensive ones at work.

Strengths: Low upfront cost w/ great image quality. Fast speeds at 22ppm color and B/W.
Weaknesses: A little noisy but definitely workable.
Overall Evaluation: I have been very impressed with the speed and color quality of this Ricoh machine. I would definitely recommend this machine to anyone looking to get into color printing. I also added the duplexer & love the speed I get from it on 2 sided printing as well. I have not experienced any paper jamming or problems.
