Strengths: Everything is functional.
Weaknesses: They didn't spend alot of time working on useability. Seems like they did the bare minimum on each feature.
Overall Evaluation: Motorola gets points off for getting into bed with Verizon and allowing their phones to be crippled. By that I mean that multi-media functionality (upload and download of media files) has been disabled. Also, you CAN'T remove those annoying stock images or rings. Yes, however, you CAN re-enable multi-media functionality on many phones (I have an e815) if you hack them with seem editing software.

Strengths: Does what I needed it to do (transfer files effectively).
Weaknesses: Seems to have problems detecting my phone.
Overall Evaluation: Haven't bothered to use most of its features. I bought it for file transfer with my computer (for custom ringtones and making the camera feature actually useful), and it's served its purposes well enough for that. A bit pricey for what it gives.

Strengths: Easy to use
Weaknesses: Does not manage ringtones as described by some sites
Overall Evaluation: Connect cable a bit challenging to connect/disconnect to bottom of phone (I have a Motorola E815). Other than that, it helps me manage my 200+ phone numbers in the phone so it is a life saver.

Strengths: Easy to use.
Weaknesses: The support folk had to walk me thru the installation because the normal procedure did not work. They were very helpful and we got it loaded quickly. Please see the note below about the severe limita
Overall Evaluation: If you have Verizon service, almost all of this software's features are disabled (at the request of Verizon). Verizon probably did this to force you to pay for the equivilent services thru Verizon. Only the contact list and calender functions are usable with Verizon. Moto should sell another version for Verizon users for $10, because that's about what the SW is worth to a Verizon user. For a non-Verizon user this SW may be great.

Strengths: The program does exactly what it claims to do.
Weaknesses: It takes so long to load into memory for the initial installation that you may think you got "ripped-off" at first!
Overall Evaluation: It takes an extremely long time to install, especially when other memory-intensive apps are running in the background. However, once the installation process begins, it goes comparatively fast. After a reboot, the wizard is self-explanatory. You'll be up & running quickly.

Strengths: Easy to Use and set up
Weaknesses: Unable to get live-updater to work
Overall Evaluation: Installation of the software was pretty straightforward. Used a Zonet Bluetooth adapter rather than the included cables to communicate with my two Motorola V557 phones. Was able to download my own mp3 files to use as ringtones and can transfer pictures to and from the phone/PC. Can transfer data between phone and Outlook easily. Only problem was getting the Live Updater to work- needed to contact Motorola to get a link to the software update. Item came fast.

Strengths: Works seamlessly with my Motorola Razr
Weaknesses: None noted so far
Overall Evaluation: This was an excellent purchase. The vendor's performance was timely, the product exactly as shown and the price of $19.95 (no shipping or taxes) was significantly below the Motorola price of $49.95.The program's performance has been flawless thus far and it probably has other capabilities that I have yet to discover. My purpose of buying it was to streamline the inputting of phone numbers and calendar events. This, the program, does well. I am well pleased and would buy it again from the same vendor.

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Easy installation and setup. Makes it a snap to import/export address and calendar data and to back up phone data.
Weaknesses: None, unless you are a Verizon customer. Verizon has disabled all their phones' multimedia file transfer capabilities.
Overall Evaluation: This is a fine product. However, I was disappointed to find out that I was unable to utilize a major portion of this software's capability, the "Multimedia Studio". You see, Verizon (which is my mobile service company) has disabled multimedia file transfer for all their mobile phones. You cannot transfer pictures, videos or sounds to/from your computer with this software. This is an attempt by Verizon to force you to use (pay for) their mobile services to do so. Verizon could correct this in an instant by changing the driver software for their phones that they modified to block file transfer.

Strengths: Does all it's supposed to do within limitations of my carrier (US Cellular). They want you to get your picture files uploaded/downloaded via their proprietary fee based service.
Weaknesses: See strengths.
Overall Evaluation: Product was what I ordered. Expectations were above what it could deliver but not at the fault of the product. If your want to get new ring tones or pictures, make sure your carrier allows it. Mine didn't.

Strengths: Easy connection to PC via USB portCan charge phone while communicating with PC
Weaknesses: Charger cable not easy to connect to data cable
Overall Evaluation: This is a good product for communications between Bluetooth and non-Bluetooth activated phones and personal computers. The software that comes with the kit is easy to use, though I had to figure out for myself that I could drag and drop contacts from Outlook to my phone. I liked being able to put my cell phone on charge while transfering photos from my cell phone to my personal computer. However, I find it difficult to plug the charger cable in to the data cable so that it is actually charging - I have to push it in hard and wiggle it until it works.
