    Strengths: Fabulous device -- scans flawlessly at high-speed

    Weaknesses: None

    Overall Evaluation: I bought this scanner to enable moving to as paperless office as possible. This scanner is a winner!!The S-500 scans duplex at 18ppm and single-sided copies at 25pppm converting either to searchable pdf (which can be transformed to word or excel with other software) or standard pdf (which, like e-faxes can not be searched easily). The searchable feature slows down the processing somewhat.The product is compact (much smaller than a flatbed scanner) and reasonably priced.Overall, a great time saver and excellent product.
