Strengths: Easy Setup if connected to wired desktop for configuration via website, Directional Antennae, Great Rate and Strength with n-compatible laptop and b/g laptop surfing simultaneously.

Weaknesses: None that I know of...although we have a relatively small house and simple needs, so we don't demand a great range or great complexity.

Overall Evaluation: Although I had never heard of Buffalo, I am really happy that on-line research led me to a company that offers an affordable n-router with good range, high bandwidth with other b/g devices present, and solid reviews from the techies. So far so good. Would definitely check them out in the future.

Strengths: Great product, bought 3 for $120 delivered each. Using one as normal router, and 2 in Access Point mode. Easy to setup great logging and configuration features.

Weaknesses: If you choose to activate password security, you have to keep userid of root. No way yet that I have found to determine signal strength of access points connection to router.

Overall Evaluation: I purchased 3 of these due to some new requirements I've got at my farm. I placed one in my home in router mode and connected it to my satellite modem. I put one in my barn in Access Point mode and connected it to my Gadspot GS760 video DVR. This allows me to view foaling and security cameras on any pc at the house. And also gives me wireless access at the barn for my laptops when I'm out there. I was impressed to see how easy it was to setup. I had been using an old Linksys WRT55AG router. I began looking at various bridge options to give me a wireless connection to the barn and happened upon this device. I quickly found it easy to dump the old Linksys and start over. Camera access is very fast between the two structures and setup was easy. I liked that I could save the configurations for future restore or reference. I had an old desktop computer that had never been connected other than by a wired ethernet connection and was considering an internal card for it. But since I didn't need the portability, I opted for another WZR-G300N and connected it wired to the desktop in access point mode. This further enhances the roaming signal around the farm. With a return policy from the store and a 2 year warranty from Buffalo, I figured I didn't have a lot to loose. I'm very impressed with the abilities that I now have and for the $360 that I spent, I feel that it was a bargin.
