    Strengths: Easy.

Weaknesses: ? N card for Mac

Overall Evaluation: My Airport finally seemed to give out and I replaced today with LINKSYS N (since my sons have PC laptops). Has worked easily and very well. I am getting faster speeds and better range than I ever got before, and my MAcBook Pro doesn't even have an N card. Can't see what all the others are compaing about! My sons have finally stoped compaining about "LAG" on their on-line games! Worth it for that alone!Hope it lasts, and hope to get an N card for my Mac!

    Strengths: looks good!

Weaknesses: does not work! do not buy! poor serveice!

Overall Evaluation: poor serveice from linksys, they does not know how configure device! I tried with n-type card -- looks ok, but it is dropping connection with b and g every 5-7 min for ~30sec. VERY UPSET

    Strengths: Nice blue case

    Weaknesses: Doesn't work

Overall Evaluation: After buying three of these (for a critical distance application) finally found a sales rep at linksys that admitted they were not really ready for sale yet. Spent 30+ hrs on phone with tech support - Linksys never offered to replace or correct problem. Finally gave up and purchased a g router and everything is fine.

Strengths: WITH ONLY DRAFT N SPECIFICATION IT WORKS FINE, SUPER I MEAN CRAZY FAR RANGE BUT ONLY WITH OTHER DRAFT N PRODUCTS. I have setup I believe 6 of these, customers hear it is the latest and greatest and do not want to upgrade their current cards, do not sell o

Weaknesses: Once a B or G card connects into this unit, it all goes bad, b and g range such and it obliterates the other draft-n connections as well. i have setup about 6 of these now and all my customers have called in complaining. I told them not to get it in the f

Overall Evaluation: Do not get this unit, until they take b and g off of the N chip and use a two chip system which would actually work. For some reason the Draft-N spec just goes crazy when you hook into it with B or G. Like I said once B or G taps into the Network the Draft-N devices connected start freaking out as in dropping signals and a really short range. Connection was not as good as my WRT54G. Speed sucks. Also it would not connect to google's server. I was able to ping the site but not able to open the site using IE, Opera, Firefox or any web browser.

Strengths: Fast wired connection. Wired network and internet connection and interface fine. Wireless connection and interface abysmal.

Weaknesses: Poor tech support. Unable to solve basic internet connection.

Overall Evaluation: Unable to connect previous home network based on "G" technology to the internet via this router. Tech support unable to solve problem. Would not buy at this time until the bugs are worked out and tech support is more up to speed on the current problem areas.

    Duration of ownership:1 Weeks

Strengths: - looks good- reasonable 3 year warranty- doesn't seem to explode

Weaknesses: - poor wireless range- poor wireless throughput- awful web interface- weak features

Overall Evaluation: Even with the 0.92.6 firmware, the wireless speed is a small fraction of what I got with my cheap trendnet mimo router (using an IBM T41p with internal wireless-g). Also, the access controls page is limited to "deny ..." rather than "allow only ...". Finally, they have the worst looking, most confusing web interface I've ever seen (and I've seen a LOT of routers). Do yourself a favor and skip this!
