Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Cute, small, stylish and CHEAP
Weaknesses: stupid software, cheap feeling
Overall Evaluation: I don't really like Sandisk Mp3 players, first , they used to be very ugly, second, the control is so confusing, third they don't allow you to arrange your music by folders, which is the exact point I like for creative muvo. Apparently, this player solved the first problem, and it is really cheap compare to ipod, so, you just can't resist.

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: big screen, battery life, replacable battery, size, micro SD expansion slot, price, voice recording.
Weaknesses: menu navigation takes some getting used to.
Overall Evaluation: for the price this pwns the opposition. it has a nice screen with vivid colors that can play videos (albeit the screen may be too small to watch anything serious). so 4GB plus the biggest micro SD you can find is a pretty big capacity for a flash based music player. unlike hard drive players this won't get damaged when working out or by constant vibration. weakness: navigating the menu is not really ipodesque straight forward, you need to know which buttons to press. you won't pick it up and be able to navigate (which is good if you don't want friends/family to constantly borrow it) but I got used to them in a day so no problems. the voice recording function is good too. I recorded conversations with it and they're pretty good quality. I haven't listened to radio so I can't comment on that.

Strengths: sleek. color screen. great price
Weaknesses: none
Overall Evaluation: I bought this small baby two days ago and I like it so much. It's very sleek (not as sleek as ipod), but it's a big color screen and have full of functions you need. Especially for that price I can not resist to buy it. Great stuff. Recommend!

Duration of ownership:1 Weeks
Strengths: This system is fantastic for the price. It easily compares to the Ipod Nano. I can add all the extra memory I want via the expandable memory slot. I'm not limited in the amount of music I can store.
Weaknesses: I have only had my e260 one day and I have only found one weakness so far. The headset definitely has to be upgraded with one of your own.
Overall Evaluation: I would recommend the Sansa e260 over the Ipod nano anyday based on price and ease of use. Even more mature people can figure out how to use this MP3. The well-lit screen makes it easy to see and I fnd it to be the perfect size. I have now owned this MP3 for two weeks and I absolutely love it. Still no complaints and I also have purchased an additional one for my daughter.

Strengths: Play FM tuner, excellent design, Battery life
Weaknesses: None
Overall Evaluation: I just tried to purchase and see the different between sansa e260 and ipod nano. I would say sansa has a better design, battery life and it plays FM tuner with reasonable price on this mp3. I like the color on the screen too. It produce excellent image color. It's easy to use. It comes with a function that none of any player comes which is Recording a FM radio. By recording the radio songs, you are able to listen anytime you want. Also, the e60 sandisk comes with viewing the photos. It used microSD as additional drive to put more videos and photos and songs.

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Great options. The surprise is the capability of recording from the FM radio which is incorporated in this unit.
Weaknesses: Bad device if you want to scan through recorded audio files.
Overall Evaluation: This device is comparable to Apple's products however, you would think that the turnable ring might be used as a cog-shuttle device when playing anything on the unit. It isn't.

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Bright crisp screen.Fast menu system.Sound is excellent.Expandable memory - takes microSD cards.Resume feature.Replacable LI battery.
Weaknesses: No Bookmark feature. (But is possible in the future with a software upgrade)Buttons could be a problem for big fingers.
Overall Evaluation: With the E260 Sandisk shows that it wants to be taken seriously in this gazillion $$ market for DAP or rather DAVP in this case. If you take away the scroll wheel just the scroll wheel from IPOD I don't think even IPOD can beat this player. This thing can do audio, video, recording, FM radio, photos for a price that is almost 50-70street less than IPOD. All in all it is great player should be considered by anyone looking for IPOD alternatives.
