    Overall Rating: 5 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Bright screen, good build quality, DVI input, and overall a good value. No dead pixel.

Weaknesses: No height adjustment. Tilt only.

Overall Evaluation: Got the LCD from OfficeMax ($150 after $30 coupon) for almost two months now and still very satisfied with its performance. The exterior feels well built of good quality and the picture very clear. Got worried from blurred characters on the monitor after initial setup. But once the display was set to 1440 by 900, everything works great. All in all, a great value compared to other brandname monitors.

Strengths: Excellent value. Displays a great picture out of the box. Includes DVI and VGA cable in the box. Does double duty as a display for HDTV.

Weaknesses: Touch-type menu controls. No swivel stand.

Overall Evaluation: Purchased this 193FWk monitor new in the box from Officemax for the sale price of $179 minus a $30 off coupon totalling $149. Looked at several more expensive widescreen computer monitors with more goodies on them. For $149 this monitor looks great and does everything I need it to do. I run it at 1440x900 pixels through a DVI connection and it looks great. Only thing I don't like about it is the touch-type on screen display menu controls, standard push button type would have made it much easier to navigate through the menus, it is a fight to make the touch-type controls work, they have to be pressed just right. For the low price I would definitely reccomend this monitor if you are on a budget and want the most for your money.
