    Overall Rating: 1 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:2 Months

    Strengths: charges quick at first........

Weaknesses: large, heavy and loud. and kills batterys after a few charges

Overall Evaluation: very unhappy with this, was very impressed at how quick it charges. was great. then noticed the batteries were nearly dead after charging after a few times using and charging. went through a lot of batteries until i called duracell and they replaced the unit. i am going back to the smaller unit, it worked great until the batteries started falling out as it got older. Duracell impressed me with their customer service 5 stars for them.

    Strengths: FAST

    Weaknesses: Batter killer

Overall Evaluation: Before this, I had been use kind of slow charger. At that time, there is no problem with my batteries. But after I use this fast charger, sometimes this charger cannot recharge some of my batteries and they seemed dead. Now I'm looking for another 'normal' charger. If you want to use this one, use it just in case you are in really emergency.

    Strengths: they charge fast

Weaknesses: they don't hold their charge.

Overall Evaluation: even if i charge them up at 11:30pm they are fully charged in 15 minutes i put them away and by 9:00am i put them into my digital camera and they are dead immediately!they aren't designed for high drain devices such as digital cameras like they claim to. don't waste your money on any of the energizer rechargeable batteries they just won't work for this!!! even regular Duracell disposable batteries do far more than these batteries ever could in their entire service life!don't buy these! buy lithium batteries for your camera or high drain device!you won't regret it!

    Strengths: None

    Weaknesses: Last 2 months max!!!!

Overall Evaluation: This is the worst money I ever spent on batteries. They lasted about 10 charges then throw them away. A little more research before flooding the market with false advertisement would be the proper proceedure instead of grabbing the money an running. I'll try the ENERGIZERS.

    Duration of ownership:1 Years

    Strengths: very powerfull

Weaknesses: None really, but read the comments.

Overall Evaluation: I have several of these and other brands of NiMHi batteries. I have found that most brands do not charge well after several charging sessions, especially where the batteries are partially charged before recharging, as they usually are. NiMHi batteries are peculiar this way, and can quickly become unusable in many cameras. For some reason the voltage drops off when NiMHi batteries are not fully recycled, and charging them will NOT raise the voltage sufficiently for our modern digital cameras. The cure is simple. Buy a couple of AA cell flashlights at the $1 store. Run the batteries until the flashlight gets dim. You will notice that, surprisingly, the seemingly poorly charged batteries will run the flashlight for a surprisingly long time, like even 2 or 3 hours or longer, just as if they were fully charged! AFTER discharging them, put them in your charger, 15 minute charger or otherwise. Every good NiMHi battery I have had, that seems to not charge up properly, responds to this process. Rechargeable batteries are odd things. I have used NiCad's for many, many years, and they have their own peculiarities. NiMHi batteries have there own peculiarities, and full cycling brings them back. I have batteries that I have treated this way for 2 or 3 years, and they are still going strong. That is just the way they are.

    Overall Rating: 1 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:6 Months

Strengths: none that I have found.

Weaknesses: Will only charge Duracell batteries. Useless for other brands. Too bulky. Transformer too large.

Overall Evaluation: I do a lot of photography. Usually when I do a shoot I bring three or four packs of AA batteries with. My old charger took forever (overnight) to charge a set so I spent (wasted) my money on Duracell's quick charger. Total disappointment! The only batteries it will charge are the ones that came with it.

    Duration of ownership:

    Strengths: Fast charger

    Weaknesses: DESTROYS

Overall Evaluation: I purchased this charger and an additional 8 packs of 4 batteries (36 batteries total) in May 2006, and it is now almost Jan 2008. A few months ago (August 2007), I noticed that I would charge ALL of the batteries, and not use them for a week, then when I went to use them, they were practically DEAD! Even as soon as they are done charging now they probably only charge to 60 percent capacity, and die very quickly. I couldn\\\\\\\'t believe it. I have had great success with NiHM batteries in the past, but this is ridiculous! I spent hours online, researching battery technology and chargers to find out that any charger that charges your batteries faster than one our SEVERELY DECREASES THE LIFESPAN of your batteries! I purchased a set of Eneloop batteries which hold a charge much longer than any other NiMH batteries on the market. I will be contacting Duracell to find out if I can get replacement batteries for the small fortune I have lost on these. Don\\\\\\\'t get me wrong, it\\\\\\\'s not the batteries that have the problem. Duracell makes great batteries. It\\\\\\\'s their pathetic charger that killed them all. Unfortunately, people review these products and give them five star ratings without owning them for more than a few months. I know someone else who had the same exact problem with the Energizer version of this 15 minute charger. DO NOT BUY THESE.

    Duration of ownership:6 Months

Strengths: Quick charge without heating batteries.

Weaknesses: Bulky. Not work for other brand batteries.

Overall Evaluation: If you only have duracell rechargeable batteries, this is a great choice. You can charge 1-4 AA/AAA in 15 mins. But the bulky AC adapter (almost the same size as charger) makes it not a good travel companion. If you have other brand batteries, you will have to buy another one for them.

    Duration of ownership:1 Months

    Strengths: very fast, cooling fan

    Weaknesses: bulky ac adapter

Overall Evaluation: This charger is very fast. It has a fan to cool down batteries. It gets a bit hot, but charges full in 15 minutes as advertised. Individual lamp would be better to indicate if each battery is full.

    Overall Rating: 4 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:45 Days

Strengths: Nice charger for decent price

Weaknesses: More sound from fan while charging and size also little bit heavy.

Overall Evaluation: I have bought this for a reasonable price and 4 charged batteries will be ready within 15 min wherever I am and whenever I want. For this price, 4 re-chargable batteries with charger is dead cheap. So far I didn't get any problems with this and one more advantage is, you can use this for AAA battries also. And one more drawback is that It is with lenghty power card and with power supply battery.
