    Overall Rating: 5 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:

    Strengths: high quality construction

Weaknesses: be careful using it with a macbook pro

Overall Evaluation: I like this lock for several reasons. first, it actually feels like a decently strong lock. second, it uses a key instead of a combination. the key can only be removed when in the locked position, so you will never mistakenly leave your laptop unlocked. it does fit pretty snugly into the hole, though, so it can be a little tricky at first. although it does have a piece of rubber on the end, some people have still complained of it scratching their macbook pros. I have one, and so I covered the hole and the area around it with a piece of scotch tape, then poked a hole in the tape. this has worked just fine. bottom line, you get what you pay for. this isn't the cheapest lock, but an investment of less than $50 to help protect something I paid thousands of dollars for is worth it, in my opinion.

    Duration of ownership:1

Strengths: Made of very good quality carbon tempered steel braided sheath cable. Customized Keying options in case you lose your key for easy replacement. Rubber bushing protects from scratches when attached.

Weaknesses: None that I have seen yet.

Overall Evaluation: I just received my Kensington Micro savor Notebook Lock. I have to say that I'm very impressed with the quality of its make-up. Very durable. I have read in other review complaints are the actual lock that connects to the computer has scratched some laptops. Well, it looks like Kensington has solved this issue because mine has a rubber bushing that separates the actual lock from your laptop. Making it almost impossible for any scratching to occur.

    Duration of ownership:1 Weeks

Strengths: 6-ft Carbon tempered steel cable, Rubber tie for cable cord management and portability. Cable protected.

    Weaknesses: None identified

Overall Evaluation: Some computers like the IBM ThinkPad T43 have their USB interface a little bit too close to the security slot. In consequence some USB Flash drives may be hard to plug.

    Overall Rating: 5 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: (1)multi-layer carbon cable with a scratch free outer layer; (2)Patented T-bar lock, the BEST in the market(3)a complimentary replacement key service

Weaknesses: Included "rubber tie for cable cord management and portability" is stiff. However, it does the job and not easily breakable! The cable is a little heavy and takes up some space in your bag.

Overall Evaluation: Paying extra is nothing as long as you get the most secure notebook lock in the market. You must have this one. Not only the product you get is excellent, Kensington offers services for a complimentary replacement key!
