Strengths: Price, Storage, Speed
Weaknesses: none
Overall Evaluation: This is a great product. It is the lowest price for a 2GB drive I ever see. And so far I don't have any problem with it. The transmission speed is very fast. It took less than a minute to transfer a big movie file from my computer to the drive. And it is very compact. So far I am really happy with the purchase. Highly recommended!

Strengths: storage is big, meet my current need; plug and play.
Weaknesses: cheap plastic; not strongly built; design is so-so.
Overall Evaluation: when plug in, the computer can recognize the drive; however, the drive name "Kingston" can not be seen with Windows XP Pro Explorer. So, I changed the name, e.g. "2GBUSB", then, the name appears. Do not know if it is a bug. It is not a big deal though.

Strengths: Great capacity, FAST!
Weaknesses: None that I have found yet.
Overall Evaluation: The 2GB DataTraveler USB flash drive is by far the best flash drive I have ever used. Handles all my files and allows me to transfer database backups from my clients. Can't ask for anything more.

Strengths: It feels solid, 2GB is a nice amount of space, and the size is good.
Weaknesses: Only bit that's less than perfect is that the LED light in this drive only flickers when data is being transferred, and does not stay on the entire time it is actively docked in the computer
Overall Evaluation: The Data Traveler doesn't have all the fancy things some of the other drives have, and that is fine by me. It is fast enough for my backups, and also stores quite a bit of information. It does not have U3 but I do not think that is something I would use a great deal. It also seems that any of the U3 software that is remotely useful, is also not free. All in all for a relatively inexpensive simple solution for data backup and portability, this has worked just fine for me. The cap will fit on the opposite end of the drive when plugged in, however then you cannot put any type of hanging string or attach it to a keyring, therefore, I suppose as with others, the cap can be easily mislaid. Another bit that's less than perfect is that the LED light in this drive only flickers when data is being transferred, and does not stay on the entire time it is actively docked in the computer. I liked the feature in the Sandisk cruzers whereby the LED stayed lit until it was ejected, this allowed me to know at a glance if my cruzer was ready to be yanked from the computer. A very minor flaw. If you can get this drive at a good price it is well worth it.

Strengths: Easy to install, fast transfer speeds
Weaknesses: None detected at this time
Overall Evaluation: This drive installed very quickly on my laptop. It detected it instantly and I did not need to reboot in order to use it. I copied several mid and large size files, and subsequently copied them to my hard drive and deleted them from my Kingston drive. Transfer speeds for all 3 cases was quick. Very pleased with this drive!

Strengths: Compact, big capacity, low price, reasonable speed
Weaknesses: Green is the only color you can choose.
Overall Evaluation: This is the 3rd Kingston flash drive I've bought. Never get disappointed with its quality and reliablity. With the $25 rebate, it simply beats all its competitors in the market these days. Good buy!
