    Overall Rating: 5 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:2 Years

Strengths: Simple to use - fast install

Weaknesses: There is NO warning when a unit is going to fail - almost worth having a second as a spare if it is connection that you cant live without.

Overall Evaluation: I use a set of these at home rather than wireless. As an IT professional I have used these to stream video, audio, to provide network access where there is no other way to provide it (walls to thick for wireless - no cables run) and they work a treat!

    Overall Rating: 5 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Easy to set up...great throughput...can connect wired switch for more capabilities (ie. DVR & Xbox 360 hooked up to same outlet.)

Weaknesses: A little large...you're going to lose the use of the second outlet wherever you plug this in.

Overall Evaluation: I needed to hook up both my DirecTV DVRs and my Xbox, but the wireless was spotty in my home (too many walls to pass through.) I picked up 3 of these (refurbed) for under $120 shipped and couldn't be happier. I decided to upgrade the firmware on each before full use, but honestly they worked right out of the box. All I did was plug in the main one by my switch/router, then connected the cable, plugged in the other two outlets and was working right away. You can even stream HD content (if your home's wiring is newer.)I'd highly recommend, but see if you can buy refurbed. Priced as new, it's almost cheaper to go pre-N wireless.
