Strengths: Great Phone, nice design, user interface, and high quality sound and excellent features
Weaknesses: Last one, the keypad numbers stopped working. However, VTech replaced it under warrantee.
Overall Evaluation: This is the second time I have purchased a Vtech phone, and this time, I have also purchased three extensions to have a cordless network. I think they make really nice products, and would recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality cordless phone system.

Strengths: signal strength- can use it a few houses down the street2.4GHz allows to station extension handsets anywhere with an outletBig call log memory is useful
Weaknesses: memory- have to add phone # in each phone...can't copy memory add or list between phonesnumber pad- can't dial phone # really fast...have to be deliberate with each "key stroke"
Overall Evaluation: Just bought this expansion handset to replace a broken one. I think the break was primarily due to our 2 year old son dropping the phone too may times. Phone has good memory of calls log in and out. Handsfree speaker on back of phone is ok. Sometimes fades in and out. Sound quality of earpiece is ok. Could be better. Small size is good for hooking to belt while talking w/handsfree earpiece but too small to try and hold between ear and shoulder. The base I have doesn't have a speakerphone which I wish it had. Can adjust ringer volume at base but can't with xtension handsets. It's either on/off. We have to turn the upstairs xtension handsets off to keep the ringer from waking our kids.

Strengths: Good design and lightweight. Also cheap price and a lot of features!
Weaknesses: Some static which is surprising for a 2.4 ghz phone...but not really that loud.
Overall Evaluation: Real nice looking phone. Has a lot of great features and pretty easy to use. The price for the base and spare handset are pretty cheap. Real light weight also and the battery is crazy... I have had it for 3 days and been talking on it and never had to charge any of the phones and the battery is still 75% full! That is really nice. I am sure it will last a couple of years without problems...and then I will end up getting a new set... but that is ok since I like getting new phones! Go ahead and get the phone... it is worth the price!
