Strengths: easy install, fast printing, good looking, has a LCD, good price,
Weaknesses: not networking (or wireless) ready
Overall Evaluation: The install is simple and easy on windows XP. The instruction is clear. No extra steps were needed.The printing is fast compared to my old printer. The LCD and blue lights on other buttons make it very nice looking.One nice feature is that when it is off and you print something from your computer, it will automatically turn on and start printing.I bought it with a good price after rebate. I wish it were networking (or wireless) ready. However, for that, you need to spend more on other models.

Strengths: Price, Color and Resolution, Appearance and Size.
Weaknesses: Speed and Size of Paper Tray
Overall Evaluation: Overall, it is a very good printer for the price. I do not see any major flaws or drawbacks. The quality and speed of printing is reasonable for the price you pay.

Weaknesses: THIS SEEMS TO BE AN OLDER UNIT & DID NOT COME WITH A VISTA DRIVE-THIS MUST BE ORDERED FROM HP OR DOWNLOADED FROM THEIR WEB SITE
Overall Evaluation: I PREVIOUSLY HAD A CANON IP860 WHICH I LOVED BUT DIED. THIS UNIT IS FASTER AND OVERALL WILL DO WHAT I NEED AND MUCH MORE-I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRINTER WITHOUT HESITATION

Strengths: Easy to setup and use. Fast text printing. Printing photos without using computer. Nice 2.4" image display screen. Very inexpensive price.
Weaknesses: None so far
Overall Evaluation: This is a very versatile printer by Hewlett Packard. You can print regular size 8x11.5 as well as 4x6 in photos. In fact, you can print photo(s) without having to be connected to a PC. The photo quality is excellent for such an inexpensive printer plus you get to view your pictures before print on the 2.4 inch LCD pop-up screen. Document printing is fast and clear. I am extremely pleased with this purchase. It was well worth the price for such quality prints and the many features it can perform.

Overall Evaluation: Very easy to set up and use. The photos printed out on HP paper were very good. The LCD is large enough for reviewing photos and has an OK resolution. Overall, a worthy buy.

Overall Evaluation: Great inkjet printer. Very nice looking, laser quality result. It prints text very fast. The 3.4" LCD is very bright and it's a touch screen. This printer allows you to print directly from USB drive or any memory card you have.It also has separate tray for 4x6 photo paper, which is very convenience for photo printing. Overall, you can go wrong with this unit as long as you dont spend more than $100.

Strengths: Fast text printer, nice lcd, print directly without computer, nice looking
Weaknesses: A little slow for photo print
Overall Evaluation: HP Photosmart D7160 is excellent overall printer. The installation is very easy, the LCD is very bright, it has separate photo paper tray, the individual ink cartridges will enable cost saving in the long. I use this printer at home and it looks really nice. The card reader that lets you print directly without a computer is also useful to print a quick photo. Finally, the result is excellent, especially for text. It looks like it was printed with laser printer. I would recommend this unit over the other inkjet printer in it's class.

Strengths: Printing without using computer, fast, excellent print quality, low price
Weaknesses: Software installation took a long time and required 2 attempts
Overall Evaluation: My first attempts at printing pictures were disappointing as the quality was terrible but then I realized the photo paper I was using was fairly old. I switched to the sample pack I received with the printer and the quality was excellent. document printing is fast and clear. purchased to replace a photo printer which HP no longer makes ink cartridges for. Printing without using computer is easy and transfering pictures from printer to computer is an excellent option. This printer is highly recommended because of its print quality, features and low price

Strengths: Very fast. Prints excellent looking photos. Very inexpensive.

Overall Evaluation: This is the best printer I have ever owned. The case is beautiful. Does not look like cheap plastic. Uses 6 color cartridges. The quality of photo printing is amazing. It is perfect and to replace the cartridges is not expensive. Printing text is extremely fast. I was amazed on how inexpensive this printer was but yet the quality was not representative of the cost. I am extremely pleased with this purchase. I'm sure you will be also.
