    Strengths: Features, ease of use, printing quality, and network capability, and customer support.

    Weaknesses: Size, network setup

    Overall Evaluation: After searching for an al-in-one printer for my wife for Christmas, I took advantage of the sale that was offered at Circuit City, I decided to purchase the C5180. I have a wireless router and 1 desktop and 2 wireless laptops and decided to patch this up via ethernet thru the router. It took about 2.5 hours to setup since this disk that HP provided with the product was not functioning properly so I had to go to their customer support website and download which took exactly 1.5 hours (even though I had cable for ISP). Once my desktop was setup, it was extremely easy to setup both of my laptops. The printing is incredible and pics come out great, and the memeory card slots and no need for pc to print make it extremely functional.

    Strengths: Excellent color quality on photo paper, User Friendly, Economical.

    Weaknesses: Disappointing Color Quality on plain paper, Slow.

    Overall Evaluation: The C5180 is well designed, user friendly, economical, and has an excellent photo printing capability. However, it is not as fast as it is advertised. Also, the color quality on plain paper is somewhat disappointing. It has an external display and you can print out photos without computer.

    Strengths: Prints - like every other low end printer

    Weaknesses: horrible software, button response time,

    Overall Evaluation: The software for this printer have created conflicts with programs and the windows operating system. When I install the software, Adobe photoshop will not open. When I install just the drivers I get various hangs and access denied errors in windows. Someone should inform HP that computers are used for more than just printing and their software should be at least compatible with windows.

    Strengths: SET UP

    Weaknesses: BLACK IS GRAY. SCANS TOO LIGHT

    Overall Evaluation: IF YOU WANT YOUR ITEMS TO SCAN AND PRINT LIGHTER THAN ORIGINAL, THEN GREAT YOU'LL LOVE IT. OTHERWISE THE COLOR DOES NOT ADJUST DARKER. I'M RETURNING IT. SCANS LOOK TOTALLY DIFFERENT THAN ORIGINAL TOO
