Strengths: verygood protection for virus, spams mails, spywares

Weaknesses: Slows you down tremendously

Overall Evaluation: I really like this software. It's provide a full protection for your computer (virus, spyware,spams mails,...). It's really easy to install and use. It take up some RAM from your computer so make sure the computer has enough memory. Other than that, the software is really good for personal use (home or small business). Highly recomended.

Strengths: 3 User license, and all in one protection

Weaknesses: heavy on resource

Overall Evaluation: New and nice interface, very easy to install. Offers 8-in-1 protection but feels heavy with very little customer support. Seems to work and keep your PC safe, but I like ZoneAlarm better.

Strengths: Price, Ease of use, protects your computer well.

Weaknesses: Slows you down tremendously!!!

Overall Evaluation: Just about everything with this software is great. It does a great job of protecting your computer from malicious content. If you tweak your settings, this product will work wonders to make sure you have a safe time on your computer. Antivirus, firewall, integrated antispyware and rootkit detectors are good and get the job done. Cons: My biggest complaint about McAfee is that it slows down your computer. I'm not going to lie, it can be rather slow when booting up and opening up applications, pulling up windows. Also, if you don't use outlook, then SpamKiller can be useless. If you want an all-in-one product that will protect your computer well, then get this product (if you don't mind it slowing down your computer.)

Strengths: complete package for internet 8 in 1

Weaknesses: nothing so far

Overall Evaluation: I just got this with my new laptop from staples yesterday and it's very easy to install. McAfee internet Security has all component I need for internet security, including antivirus, antispyware, antispam, antiphishing, and firewall protection. It is doing pretty well so far in my laptop since last night , which is Vista Business, but sometimes it looks heavy due to its multiple processes. Good internet security solution overall and highly recommend

Strengths: Best for the users who use internet often, shop online, good protection against spyware and adware

Weaknesses: None so far.

Overall Evaluation: McAfee Internet Security Suite 2007 - 3 User is a must buy. You get 8 in 1 protection in one, and you dont have to buy a separate adaware and spyware software. 5 out 5 stars ratings. Would recommend to everyone.

Strengths: McAfee name and multiple security program options

Weaknesses: Questionable customer support, which goes against the past 'good name' McAfee had made for itself, and system resource hog

Overall Evaluation: I use a WinXP SP2 computer with 2gigs of RAM. I was using AVG's anti-virus/firewall combo and wanted to try this product on one computer before installing on a secondary computer. I was disappointed with how I tried to disable blocking for certain sites I wanted to view and it still kept blocking them. Even with what should've been sufficient RAM, the performance was slower than AVG.

Strengths: Computer Protection at a cost

Weaknesses: Blocks well known websites / Bad customer service

Overall Evaluation: Internet Security will take your working computer and break it. All my resources were tied up operating the McAfee program. You won't need to worry about viruses, because you're computer will be too slow to even use. Look elsewhere for this sort of software.

Overall Evaluation: McAfee had a reputable name long ago. They have managed to destroy that reputation by continually pumping out horrible product after horrible product. This, like other McAfee software titles, slows down your system to the point where you might as well have a spyware infection. It's ridiculous. And good luck dealing with any issue through McAfee's non-existent customer service. Just Google around to see how bad it is. Or just trust me: its really bad.
