    Overall Rating: 3 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:19 Months

Strengths: decent clarity in conversation, easy to use, small and light,

Weaknesses: could only use it within about 10-15ft from handset, after less than a yr the battery life begin to drop considerably, device began to malfunction often now almost every call gets dropped, if i try to change the volume or touch device at all, call is instantly dropped sometimes call drops for no apparent reason, apperntly there is no way to change the battery so u have to just throw the thing away

Overall Evaluation: While call quality not as good as handset it Worked good for a while, voices came thru loud and mostly clear, Now i can barely use it, calls are almost always dropped for no apparent reason, doesnt seem to be so much a battery issue as battery seems to hold a charge for a while, device just keeps malfunctioning

    Duration of ownership:2 Months

Strengths: folding boom mic as on/off function

Weaknesses: Like all Motorola headsets I find they are extremely uncomfortable to wear for extended periods also the H800 produces a lot of echo on the receiving end and the H700 only has bluetooth 1.2

Overall Evaluation: more comfortable than other moto headsets good price no bluetooth 2.0 bugs me

    Duration of ownership:6 Months

Strengths: It worked well for a couple of months.

Weaknesses: Callers can no longer understand me when I speak through the H700 Headset. Does not hold a charge for long.

    Overall Evaluation: A BIG DISSAPPOINTMENT

    Duration of ownership:2 Days

    Strengths: none

Weaknesses: total functionality and stability of the headset is poor: the flip out mechinism falls apart; the on/off switch is bad; the ear holding adapter is funky, made for outer space ears!

Overall Evaluation: Upon receiving the new headsets with chargers, I looked around for directions and found none. Went on line for setup and pairing required. After much confusion and failure the headset finally connected to my (believe it or not) motorola phone. The sound was poor, fading in and out; the on button had to be pressed numerous times for connection. Totally, an unreliable headset!

    Duration of ownership:22 Days

    Strengths: Affordable

Weaknesses: Constantly disconnects/reconnects, Low volume and poor reception.

Overall Evaluation: I have this linked with a Sanyo Katana II. I also had it linked with a Blackberry. In both cases the following behavior occurred. Driving down the road I'd have my cell clipped to the left side of my belt and H700 in my right ear. I would make a call using a voice tag. The other party would answer and I'd start taking with them. Within 60 seconds I would hear 3 fast beeps. Suddenly I couldn't hear the other party. Then I would hear the other party's voice yelling coming from my cell phone. I'd grab the cell phone and put it to my left ear. Within 10-20 seconds the cell phone would go "dead" and then I'd hear the other party on the H700. It did this dis/reconnecting 3-4 times before I gave up on the call. I then had to yank the H700 off my ear so that I could close the boom and turn it off. Then I could have a "normal" call by exclusively using my cell phone. This is happening all the time. I called Motorola and they claim this is unheard of. They say it would only happen if the phone battery was discharged. But I found this review by Googling for "H700 disconnect". There are people all over reporting this issue. Anyway Motorola has a 1 year warranty so they will replace it but I don't want to pay $9 just to get another unit that does the exact same thing. I threw away the packaging because I really believed in Motorola's reputation. I won't believe in Motorola again. Also should mention the markings "05356N H700 SYN1311A". So I'm guessing this is the infamously bad "A" version. I wonder if I RMA it to Motorola if they will send me a "B" version. Although besides being useless do to the dis/reconnect the sound volume is way too low and the signal is poor quality.

    Duration of ownership:20 Days

Strengths: Lightweight and convienient to wear and sound quality is good.

Weaknesses: ALl users that hear me complain of a 'scratchy' voice.

Overall Evaluation: Had the 850 before this and it worked just fine. Although this unit is lighter and more popular, all who listed to me say I sound terrible. I will have to purchase another unit and unfortunately 'eat' this one. Better luck with you own decision.

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Clarity of call, helps cut down on background noise, conformable

    Weaknesses: None so far

Overall Evaluation: Upgraded from a Motorola H500. This one beats that one hands down. I feel it is stylish yet small enough that it doesn't stand out. Used in a noisy environment and the calls were still clear with no complaints. Some background noise feed through but one would expect somewhat with a bluetooth headset. Based on my relatively short use of this product, I would buy it again.

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Size, comfort, style, call quality, ease of use

    Weaknesses: Absolutely Terrible battery life

Overall Evaluation: A great headset that works great...for an hour if you're lucky. Leave it off for four days, and it needs to be fully recharged. Leave it off for two, and you might get half an hour or 20 mins talk time. I've had this for a year and it has always been like this. I try to keep it charged, but I'm lucky I don't have to use it except when driving.

    Duration of ownership:2 Days

Strengths: Very easy to order great use of Pay Pal, wasn't keen on storefronts, but pay pal ease my negative ideas with store fronts

Weaknesses: None with the product or ordering

Overall Evaluation: I wanted this headset H700 i go to my local shops it would cost me $99 or more for the same headset. For 19.50 you really can't go wrong, just for hell of it i order another one. There is nothing wrong with my first one, except my wife took it so i needed another one. Overall 10 out of 10.
