  Strengths: It's "Norton"

  Weaknesses: Not particularly useful, and made my system run very s-l-o-o-o-o-w

  Overall Evaluation: It sounded good in the ad. I downloaded this onto my Mac (OS 10.4) and in setting it up began to wonder what it was going to do for me that common sense wouldn't. It "keeps my sensitive information from being sent out" for instance. Hey, I'm the one sending it.And then I began to notice that my system had slowed considerably. The Mac "mail" utility took forever to send an outgoing mail, and it finally dawned that maybe Norton Confidential was reviewing everything I sent before letting it go.Long story short, I uninstalled the utility, things are running fast, and I'm happy. I like the Norton Antivirus for the Mac, but this one's a bust.

  Weaknesses: feels like it is still in beta test

  Overall Evaluation: I did not expect too much from it for antispyware but I do want Norton confidential could help me in password management. Its malfunction and its impact on the browser speed really make it like a malware. Stay away from it until Symantec takes this product seriously.

  Weaknesses: Unstable. Difficult to use. Does not install on non-english Windows.

  Overall Evaluation: At first, I wanted to use this product on my laptop with Japanese Windows XP, but the CD refused to install the product because the Windows is not Englsh version. So I had no choice but to install it on my desktop. Though it provided all the promised functions, it took up much of resources, and slowed down the whole system.

  Strengths: In theory has some useful features

  Weaknesses: In reality, I'm not sure what this is good at. Also, it uses too many system resources

  Overall Evaluation: I'm not quite sure why you would want this product. It is supposed to help manage passwords, save you from phishing, and all kinds of good things. In reality it isn't overly useful and just slows down your machine. I expected better from Symantec since they usually product fairly solid products. This one is a disappointment.

  Overall Evaluation: As I said before don't purchase this software, whatever price U get. This software is not at all good. Can't find or catch all the virues and fraud sites. It gave me hard time to install and after I was done my system perfomance became slow very slow. U can't compare this software with any other symantec product. It is not even near to them. There is only onething good about this software is, defenitely we are sure that we will never ever buy this software at any cost. That it makes sure. Nothing good about it.

  Overall Evaluation: This is one of the most disappointing Symantec products I have purchased. As others have pointed out, when I tried to log in to the infovault, the login box is often empty, and there is no way to submit the information. Customer Service is not helpful at all.

  Weaknesses: - Uses lots of system resources- I am not sure if i can trust any online program to store and pop up my personal information automatically on websites

  Overall Evaluation: Purchased this product along with my new laptop. Software is easy to use and install. It made my system run slow by consuming lots of resources. Fortulately I have learned my lesson hard way. Instead of installing software on my working OS and computer I tried installing it on the virtual machine. if I am happy with the product then I istall it on my actual machine.It didn't impress me with its features list as it should. With my past experience I would only prefer to run Anti virus and spayware detector and nothing else.Would not recommend this product.

  Strengths: Easy installation, not expensive, you can always get rebate discount.

  Weaknesses: Consumes resources. Not very useful.

  Overall Evaluation: This product slows down you computer. Don't feel very useful. One can avoid many fishy websites if he pays more attention while clicking links. And never click links in emails. Use Firefox instead of IE. I would say a good anti-virus would be enough to protection. Install more software will only mess up your system.

  Strengths: Easy installation, functional

  Weaknesses: Performance degradation

  Overall Evaluation: I installed the software in an older computer. Tested it with some know fraudulent websites, and it identified them all. My test sample range is narrow, but at least the software gives you some feeling of being safe while making online transactions. One major problem is performance. I got significant performance slow down. Maybe the slow machine is to blame.

  Strengths: Offer up Norton Password Manager

  Weaknesses: Lots of other clutter, expensive for what you get.

  Overall Evaluation: THe only reason I got this was for Norton Password Manager, which used to be included in older versions of Norton SystemWorks, but is no longer. Heck, they even sell this new Norton 360 for a zillion dollars, and this is the one feature excluded! The only way to get it is with Norton Confidential!! The only reason I bought it was that it was cheap after rebates, otherwise it would not be good value. The password manager function works fine, but I cannot comment on the other features, as I don't use them.
