    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: only 80nm video card available as of now, best midrange card around

Weaknesses: costs more than competing manufacturer's cards

Overall Evaluation: Best bang for you hard-earned buck. Buy it cause you will not regret the purchase! No need for a crossfire card anymore--just buy another one and voila you have crossfire.

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: 80nm cool running 36 shaders with full AVIVO, great PQone slot, almost silent fan on copper HS, way better then x1900xt turbine

Weaknesses: not as fast as 7900GT, ATI "custom" CAT - no Cat 6.10 yet that supports x1950PRO

Overall Evaluation: If you can get this card for $200 - go for itit would be the best price / performance card as of today. At $300 price tag it doesn't make much sense as you can get x1900xt (or could) for less that is faster and 7900GT OC is fater at 550 to 600 mhz then x1950PROBut, if you need ONE slot card then x1950PRO is the best card at below $250 price for HDR and Oblivion game.
