Strengths: Bright and vivid colors, great size, good resolution. excellent rotational / positional adjustment of the actual monitor.
Weaknesses: none, i guess it could be bigger.. :)
Overall Evaluation: Bought this monitor to play games on (playing top games with the best graphics equip on vista) and this screen is perfect. although its no 28" this thing deff. is worth the price. bright as can be, sharp images, fast response time (no blurry imaging when playing fast FPS games. This screen also swivels 360 degrees and has a great height adjustment! Viewsonic is almost the only brand i trust and they have never disappointed me.

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: DVI/VGA support, Height and Rotation both changeable, Customizable Tilt, Vivid Colors
Weaknesses: Has a little light bleeding through the bottom edge of the monitor, no usb, controls kinda hard to get used to.
Overall Evaluation: So far, looks like this monitor will be a keeper. A nice 1680x1050 resolution on a 22 inch panel that can be turned and twisted in many directions (no sideways tilt, however, which I don't use anyhow). The only problems I saw with it were the stock colors were bright and changing them was a bit of a hassle with the buttons located in an interesting order, but after the learning curve it went and customized nicely. The blue LED on the front is not too bright, making it great for late night programming.

Strengths: Hugh monitor, beautiful colors, sharp text even with my old Dell computer, no dead pixels, easy to install, great stand. This baby has it all !!
Weaknesses: None
Overall Evaluation: I looked at every monitor on the market, searched every electronics store and read every review before deciding on this monitor. This monitor looks much bigger on my desk than it did in the store, I love it. I am convinced I made the right choice buying it!!

Strengths: Plenty of Real Estate, clear, great color, excellent design, good price, great company. I come from a 19 inch Viewsonic P95f+, I would say this monitor is definately worth the move.
Weaknesses: You might have to upgrade your video card. To some people, there might be a little adjustment. It is definately bright at stock settings. But adjustment is easy enough.
Overall Evaluation: I do a lot of work on a computer and I find that this monitor has clear type, sharp contrast, excellent color rendition, a fast refresh rate and anything you could ask a monitor to be.Your video card has to handle the preferred resolution Viewsonic suggests. I would have absolutely no problem recommending this monitor to anyone.

Strengths: Nice size, bright and sharp text.
Weaknesses: Only one stuck/dead pixel on the right side.
Overall Evaluation: Upgrade from old 19" CRT to ViewSonic VG2230wm. Very sharp text, bright and nice color. 3 warranty. Price is cheaper for 22" LCD. Only one stuck/dead pixel on the right side. It is not noticeable and not bother me. The overall is excellent LCD monitor.

Strengths: VG2230 is a true Apple Cinema Display Comparable. I use dual Apple Cinema Display Monitors at work & bought this one for home use with ATI RAGE 128 PRO. The colorful crystal clear is that of Apple.
Weaknesses: - Standard Stereo Speakers- No USB Hub
Overall Evaluation: Another Awesome product from ViewSonic - Highly Recommened to Graphic Designers. Why pay $1000 while you only need to spend $300 for the same quality? Modern Stylish Look has made my desktop more attractive. Plus 3 full year warranty is the best monitor warranty thus far.

Strengths: Nice size. Adjustable stand. No ghosting while gaming. Sharp text and good color.
Weaknesses: Viewing angle could be better.
Overall Evaluation: I upgraded to this monitor from a 20" widescreen, which ran at the same resolution, and I'm happy I did. Everything is a touch bigger, and easier to read. While playing games, I do not experience any ghosting or lagging. Also, I have not noticed any color banding. The viewing angle on this monitor could be better. If you are not looking straight on, the brightness drops and the colors become darker. Overall, I am pleased with my choice.

Strengths: Color is vivid and sharp , Great size, cool features
Weaknesses: none
Overall Evaluation: I do a lot of digital graphics and photography, I needed a clear monitor to adjust and manage large format photos. This is the one it is very sharp and colors are right on with the printed copy, a 13" X 19" glossy photo is perfect, before with my CRT you had to guess what color you were working with. If you are into graphics and or photos this is the one for you.

Strengths: Nice and bright, great work space, almost more than I need as an art director.
Weaknesses: Can't think of any to speak of. I don't have a lot of experience with other displays, some are better I am sure, but this thing is perfect. Apple's are nice, but are they really worth the extra cash?
Overall Evaluation: I am really enjoying this monitor, the work space is just great. I don't have a lot to compare it too, but it seems brighter and sharper than others I have seen out there.I am running off of a MACBOOK pro. What an upgrade from an emac screen.
