Overall Evaluation: I owned the Jabra before. I thought it was good but I did get alot of ambient noise. People always thought I was on a speaker phone, and I had ocasional static. So far I have not had any of these with the Jawbone. I highly recommend one to anyone that talks alot on the phone.

Strengths: Great noise reduction--people can\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t tell I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'m on a headset. Good battery life. Pairs easily to my i-Phone. First headset I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ve owned that had sufficient sound vol
Weaknesses: Not completely tight against my ear--but still better than any other headset I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ve tried.
Overall Evaluation: After trying several different headsets (Motorola, Jabra), I finally decided to try the Jawbone after I was talking to a friend using his jawbone at an airport and I couldn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t tell he was on a headset or in a busy airport. This is a headset I can finally use in the car where I can hear the entire conversation and people don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t complain about sound quality and background noise. Linking to the i-Phone was very straight forward with no compatibility issues. This is the first headset that I am truly happy with. Only minor issue is fit against my ear, but I haven\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t yet tried all of the earbuds that come with the unit to check for a better fit.

Strengths: The best headset I have ever used for sound quality, clarity, and loudness. Shields out background noises. Good looking.
Weaknesses: Terrible fit on ear even with multiple ear pieces/buds. Proprietary charger means having to haul around TWO at home, work, and in the car.
Overall Evaluation: I have had a cell phone since 1992, but wouldn't use a headset until the BT models came out. I have own several Motorola's, all top-of-the line, and they couldn't come close, even when paired with Moto phones, to the Jawbone in sound quality. It gets loud enough and yet is still clear. It isn't perfect by far...getting it on your ear is a major pain; it isn't a headset you can just slide on with one hand in a hurry. Once on, it isn't bad. I hate the charger...now I have to have TWO chargers everywhere, one for the phone and one for the headset; and they don't even offer a car charger yet - the place you would use it the most? The buttons are hidden, but that sometimes makes it difficult to push. And there appears to be no way to put one call on hold and answer an incoming call via the headset. I don't want my negative comments to discourage you because I think the most important purpose of a headset is the sound (and to look cool, ok, I said it) and for that it is top-notch. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the fit and charger.

Strengths: Excellent tone quality, the noise cancellation is unbelievable and does function as promoted.
Weaknesses: Controls are a little awkard to get used to and ear buds while servicable, could be better.
Overall Evaluation: The jawbone was purchased primarily for the noise reduction due to useage in a daily very high noise level environment of a suv and automobile repair facilities. While it took a few days to get used to the slightly different profile of the unit, it has been quite comfortable and once I became use to the switches also easy to operate. Does it work? Many of my customers sometimes accuse me of being in the office rather than on the road since I have changed to the jawbone. Before customers would often tell me to call them back later and or they couldn't hear me for the noise. The voice tone quality is much better than the 3 Motorolas, Nokia, and Platonic bluetooth headsets previously used and then coupled with the amazing noise reduction without the typical loss of volume or echo chambers, makes the jawbone worth the extra expense. If fact we just purchased another unit (Christmas present) for a very good friend that has vehicle noise level problems as well. It will be nice to hear and understand him at a normal voice level.

Strengths: Works great. Good volume. Noise cancellation great.
Weaknesses: Buttons a little hard to use. Reliability poor.
Overall Evaluation: I bought 2 of these and they both worked great until they just stopped working. Their reliability is questionable. The first one I got the earpiece fell off inexplicably and it stopped functioning even after I glued it back on. The plastic hooks holding the earpiece to the device just broke off. The second one I bought just stopped working. My cell phone just could not communicate with it. No matter what I did I couldn't pair up with it again. I had the first one for about 3 months before it broke and the second one only for about a week.

Strengths: I have been in front of jack hammers and Semi-truck sized shedders and this ear piece perfoms perfectly
Weaknesses: I had to bend the ear hooks to fit my ears a bit. Nothing major and I would still buy this product if I knew before purchasing.
Overall Evaluation: I was very happy with the condition and operation of this product. I have tried using several other ear pieces and I talk on my phone more than 10,000 min per month. I used to swear by Plantronics but this product is far superior. I also read in Popular Science that this unit uses the same noise cancellation as the helocopter and other aircraft that our military pilots use in their headsets.

Strengths: loud and clear
Weaknesses: earpiece has to be changed to switch from one ear to the other
Overall Evaluation: Works very well. I deal with senior citizens and they seem to hear me better with this headset than with others I've used. Not the most confortable, but OK. The ear piece is different for right and left. It would be better if I could just move it to the other ear. Instead I have to change the earpiece to make the switch.

Strengths: Small, crisp looking, lightweight, excellent sound & noise reduction.
Weaknesses: No replaceable battery
Overall Evaluation: I have really enjoyed this Bluetooth. People tell me they can't tell I'm wireless, or even on a cell phone. The only problem I had was in pairing it with the phone. A small detail was listed on the box, but not in the instructions. Needs to be corrected.

Strengths: Holds a charge for D-A-Y-S! Easy to operate. Can hear incoming calls clear as a bell. Am told people can hear me fairly well on the other end.
Weaknesses: Fits my ear better than the other 5 devices I've tried...and at least it stays on my ear and doesn't fall off when I turn my head. But, it is still a little uncomfortable.
Overall Evaluation: In spite of the fact that there are 2 options for the ear hook and 4 for the ear bud, I just can't come up with a combination that really fits my ear comfortably. Other than that, it is without a doubt the best bluetooth device I've ever owned ... or even tried! Outstanding reception, and it really does filter out a lot of external noise! How do they do that????!!!
