    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Noise reduction, looks great, not as fragile as it looks

Weaknesses: Not perfect out of the box, requires modification to make it work well, not the smallest, a little harder to put on

Overall Evaluation: The noise reduction really works. I find that it is an ideal pair to the iPhone in noisy situations. It's not the sexiest design anymore; Apple's Bluetooth headset probably takes that award now but it works perfectly for me on the freeway with the top down and the windows up, frankly even with the windows down. There is really nothing out there for better noise reduction. I think the silver is very appropriate for a work environment, better even than the red (obviously) or black (which tends to stand out if you're light-skinned). A Google search will show that many Jawbone users "modify" their Jawbones right away and I can't agree more. The funny thing about the Jawbone out of the box is that people can hear you better than with any other Bluetooth headset but out of the box, you can't hear them. Why? The included rubber earpieces are terrible. So you go to Hello Direct and order the Jabra MiniGels, Part #13059 for $5.50 (http://www.hellodirect.com/hellodirect/Shop?DSP=30102&PCR=1:1:5:15:180:3150&IID=13059&itemskuid=13059)For $5.50 with free shipping, you simply pluck the old rubber gel off and screw on the Jabra you prefer. The longer one is very comfortable, slides into your ear a little bit, and funnels the sound right to you. It's the best "accidental" modification I've ever seen. The install is self-explanatory and the rubber tips must be standardized or something because they fit perfectly. The credit goes to someone else but other users report this combination is so stable, they can even take the securing wire off. I keep it because it just stables the earpiece even more so that I can move around very actively with no problems. Just slide the hook on over the top of your ear and there you go. It pairs automatically with my iPhone so for those of you with one, it works ideally with minimal fuss one you have Bluetooth on and the two paired.

Strengths: it overrides the noise "when the noise cancelation works"

Weaknesses: Very uncomfortable on the ear, very hard to put around the ear

Overall Evaluation: somehow the noise cancellation does not work all the time and sometimes people still tell me that they cant hear me clear enough, maybe it is a bluetooth issue and not a noise cancel issue

Strengths: Great voice quality on both sides of the conversation.

Weaknesses: Ear loop tends to pull ear plug out of ear requiring frequent adjustment.

Overall Evaluation: Overall, the best headset in terms of comfort and ability to have a conversation (after all isn't that why we use a headset). Easy to synch with Palm Treo.

Strengths: Not sure it was broken when I received it.

Weaknesses: Not sure b/c I got a defective unit.

Overall Evaluation: I would not question the Jawbone so much as I would the merchant. I don't think this merchant sells brand new unopened products. I believe this Jawbone was used to some degree. I don't spend $100 on something to have it arrive in nonworking order. I don't recommend this merchant, can't really tell you about the product. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Strengths: listeners can hear you great, so long as it sits squarly on my cheek.

Weaknesses: When it does not sit on my cheek, which is fairly often as I am a heavy user and every ear and head is shaped differently.

Strengths: call quality - inbound and outbound, easy to pair with BlackBerry 8730.

Weaknesses: the "default" ringtone is strange - I may actually have to read the manual to change it

Overall Evaluation: I was expecting a headset with good quality that was a pain to comfortably fit. I used the earpiece at a high school football game today - something I could not do with my Motorola 850. It was easier to fit than I expected.

Strengths: Good Volume, Great noise cancellation, comfortable and fully adjustable with the wireframe ear wrap

Weaknesses: Needs a wider variety of earpiece forms

Overall Evaluation: I have tried 5+ bluetooth headsets from the inexpensive IOMega to the Plantronics Voyager. This is simply the best headset that I have owned. I was ready to live tethered to the phone with a wired headset. This is a great product!

    Strengths: ComfortNoise-cancellation technologySleek design

    Weaknesses: None thus far

Overall Evaluation: The Jawbone is by far the best Bluetooth headset ever to be released. It's sleek, sexy silver and black design give it a sharp look. It comes with 4 interchangeable earbuds, and earhooks so you can best fit it to your ear. It is also compatible with the Jabra Eargels, so you can wear it standalone without the earhook.By far the best part about the Jawbone is the military grade noise cancellation technology. It works off of a little sensor that rests against your cheek, (essentially your jaw, hence the name jawbone) and as your talk, it associates that movement with the sound of your voice and cancels out all background noise. Also featuring the ability to redial the last call made, answer, and end calls, and adjust the volume right from the headset.By far the best BT headset on the market today!

Strengths: Noise cancelling is better than average. Style, and battery life.

Weaknesses: Bulky, small buttons, and hard to fit.

Overall Evaluation: Exceptional piece of equipment. Good battery life, and pretty good noise cancelling although I was hoping for more. I could easily carry on a conversation with the radio blasting and no one knew the better. When I tested it against an open window.. No dice.. It worked but not up to my expectations. The earbuds are not well made although there was an assortment. Overall its worth buying.. Some short comings, but what do you expect....nothings perfect.

Strengths: Noise canceling seems to work amazingly well. Works seamlessly with my iPhone. Best bluetooth headset I've used. Great quality of call and connection to the phone hasn't dropped on me once!

Weaknesses: None of the ear pieces really fit for me-- all are a bit too big. My friends have no trouble with this. The headset still stays on, but after a long call, I feel a slight discomfort.

Overall Evaluation: I would recommend this headset. I actually LOVE it. Comes with a variety of ear loops (standard works fine for me) and ear pieces (5 sizes). Am waiting for jawbone to come out with some smaller ear piece sizes. The unit holds a good charge, is easy to use, and the call quality (esp for a bluetooth headset) can't be beat. Have 3 friends with this headset and they all rave about it too. Worth the price!
