Strengths: Compact, self-contained design, light, good quality sound.
Weaknesses: Bluetooth issues, cryptic LED signals, tight fit.
Overall Evaluation: The design of these headphones is very nice and the sound quality is excellent (I am not an audiophile). Pairing with my Treo750 was easy, but not quite so with my Dell D420. Not all controls work with all devices and programs (behold the non-standard Bluetooth standard, not entirely the fault of Motorola or this particular product). LED signalling is a bit complicated, but learnable. They are designed to pinch the head at the point of sharp curvature, and I find this irritating after more than a half hour or so of use. However, I think this is a good choice for those who want no cords, no pendants, and no dongles.

Strengths: Lightweight and Wireless
Weaknesses: Like somebody said before Locating the controls.
Overall Evaluation: Overall I think the Motorola s9 headphones are a great solution to normal headphones with wires. And if your device can handle bluetooth technology I recommend these highly over any other brand.

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Great sound quality. Very easy to use.
Weaknesses: Takes a little bit to remember where the controls are. (minor weakness)
Overall Evaluation: I purchased this set of earphones for my wife. I have been more than happy with the way they work. They sound very good. It's such a convenience to have all the controls for music, as well as phone calls, right there on the headphones. That way you can stick your phone in your pocket and not have to dig it out. I would recommend these to anyone.

Strengths: Size, aesthetics,
Weaknesses: Comfort, range, layout, sound, phone, battery
Overall Evaluation: I read a few reviews for this product so the 4 average stars it had at: this site was promising. Wrong. First off the good things-It looks cool. It is small and has style. Black with red for now, it is like the iPod for bluetooth headsets.Yet on the other hand: -It is very uncomfortable whether you put it on up or down. I have an average sized head and the ear buds barely made it on my ears. -The range was pathetic. You need to have the phone in a breast pocket or something for it to not skip every six seconds. I don't know about you, but I generally don't wear button-downs when I go for a jog. From what I noticed it skipped when the phone was moving. So if you put down your phone, then you had a good 10 feet to roam around and the music still sounded fine.-The buttons were impossible to press. About one inch long button with three buttons compounded. So if you miss the button all kinds of wanky nonsense happens. -For the sound, it was mediocre at best. Not particularly loud. And the bass made the speakers sound bad. It only really sounded good when it was plugged into your ears, and even then, was not very practical if you want to exercise with it or something. -When using the phone aspect it wasn't very good either. The sound only played in one ear, not a problem for me but the microphone was horrible. Not even halfway worth it as a bluetooth headset. -And the battery is kind of weak. 6 hours for listening and talking. Thats a joke, Who wants to have to recharge the **** thing every time you are thinking about using it?Overall, a very disappointing purchase. After returning them I picked up the HT820 and haven't looked back since

Strengths: The icombi from Oakley is only $49. Combined with the headphones nice and compact combo. Sound is very good. Volume is not a problem. Easy setup. icombi connection to ipod works with case on.
Weaknesses: Center buttons a little hard to find.
Overall Evaluation: Can change songs and answers my phone. The headset is very light and no cords to connect from ear to ear like the Etymotics. I like the in ear comfort rather that the ear muff type of headphones.

Strengths: Lightweight, nice sound, waterproof
Weaknesses: price, tight fit, buttons take getting used to, phone calls only in left ear
Overall Evaluation: I have previously owned the HT820 Moto..you've seen them, the big ugly ones that make you look like Princess Leia, the heavy, uncomfortable ones? Well the S9 is a total departure from those. The S9 sound almost as good as the 820s but not as much bass. They are much lighter and fit better, although they still pinch you around the ears and temples. You can actually wear them upside down and they feel great. The buttons are tough to use but you will get used to them eventually. I don't like the fact that when you make a phone call through the S9 you only get sound in the left ear. The HT820 gets a stereo phone call. The S9 overall is a better headset for everyone!

Strengths: Sweat proof...Durable..
Weaknesses: Low volume...Controls unusable....
Overall Evaluation: What a disappointment. No surprise coming from Motorola though. What was I thinking? This headset?s volume is too low to be useful in a noisy gym, or anywhere where there is ambient noise. The controls... The controls.. I don?t know how it made it out into production this way. The two main function buttons are surrounded by touch sensitive Volume buttons one one side, and the FWD and REV buttons on the other side. So whenever you go to pause music, or answer the phone, you inevitably end up either jumping to the next 3rd song, or turning down the already too low volume. I am returning this thing tomorrow.. Avoid it, watt for the next GEN. The Logitech FreePulse is a much better buy...
